“Traveling from South Padre Island Tx to ho.e, we had not reserved a room for the evening. Called another hotel- no rooms! Called Best Western mid-sfternoon and talked to a very polite and caring individual. Because we were about 2 hours away he told us he'd get all necessary info when we arrived. Perfect transaction and he recommended a perfect restaurant close by. Just a first class operation in my opinion. Excellent service, cleanliness, and location!Rooms: Clean and comfortable”

She and the crew, just make up feel like you are special. The place itself is beautiful and the rooms are amazing. “So I've been coming here for years, and never get tired of Lake Murray. The views are beautiful, the park is incredibly well maintained, and there's no shortage of things to try or do. The lodge staff is knowledgeable, and friendly, and the lodge master has been here for years, and you can tell he's passionate about maintaining the quality of this place! It's extremely clean, and every event I've been here for has gone very smoothly, with meticulous attention given to every detail. The rooms are gorgeous, and have views to match! And most if not all of the rooms within the lodge have a balcony that opens directly to a lakefront view. I challenge anyone to come here and not feel just at least a little bit more relaxed and at peace.”

“It's still so much greater than motel 6 . That place should be burnt down to the ground. I don't see how they passed inspection. And this is better than Border I think that the new.”

“Seen 1 Roach on our first night but other than than everything was good.Breakfast was good but no place to sit. Had to take the food back to our room, maybe this might contribute to roaches.?”

“Happened to stop and check it out and decided to get a room. Wow was I really impressed with the cleanliness and especially the fact no carpets to hold in viruses ect. Bed was very comfortable and slept like a baby!! It isn’t a usual with so many things we really don’t need but simple and comfortable. They treat us like freinds or better yet like family as they really care. Hard working people run this nice place.
