Amazing historic village. The reenactment was nice.People came from as far as New York , Virgina ,Pennsylvania .to participate.

Visited quick while driving through. We had planned to go back for a tour but didn't get around to it during our visit. Lots to see and do in the area.
Zoar was settled in 1817 by German religious dissenters. In 1819, they organized a communal society—the Society of Separatists of Zoar—which operated until 1898 when the group disbanded. Zoar Village is an island of old-world charm in east central Ohio. Zoar offers daily tours from April - October, several events, speaker series, and other engaging activities.
