Been a valued customer here for 4 years. After they caused me to be behind on bills due to fraudulent charges I didn't have a bank card for a month. Asked for a loan until I could get my bank card in order to pay my bills but was denied for some reason when I had great credit at the time. Still stayed after that, have no clue why. Well I left my job last month and my account went negative the 15th of January this month. They closed my account (2 weeks) not even a month of it being negative even though I had told them I was starting a new job and I was waiting for a direct deposit from my taxes. Not only have I been there for years but so has my mom and grandma who have had multiple problems as well. This is by far the WORST bank you could possibly go through.

If you need a bank The Community Bank in New Concord is where you need to go! The girls there are the friendliest, kindest and most helpful around! I couldn’t have asked to have a better bank . So give a huge shout out to these girls at the New Concord branch!!!!

This is the best bank I've dealt with in my long life. To me, the most important is the personal relationship - one I never experienced before. To illustrate: I now live far away from any Community Bank branches, I get all my services either online, or by telephone communication with my old branch manager, Mr. Dennis Doutt. Ever heard of that?

Five years ago my business partner set up a joint account at The Community Bank. I was immediately impressed with the high level of personal service. I learned the value of dealing with a local bank instead of the big banks. Since then I have moved my personal accounts and even my mortgage to The Community Bank.

Our restaurant was shut down for over 3 months due to COVID19. This bank charged late fees and reported negative to credit bureau and would NOT offer deferment at all. Were is the compassion in this horrible time we have suffered through? I have reported to the FDIC, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the BBB of Ohio. They should be ashamed. Every one of our creditors has deferred 4 months payments, no late charges, and reported positive only to the credit bureau. Not The Community Bank. Terrible bank!

This bank is everything that you could want, if it was 1950. The poorest customer service available, only when it's convenient to them. Lied about a wire transfer, never sent bank cards, lost paperwork. Doesn't seem to have the ability to know what they are doing. Pick another bank without a zip code of EIEIO.

It's a yes and no on recommending the bank. The staff at the East Zanesville and New Concord branches have been so nice and helpful when I've needed them. The girls at those branches are very sweet and have great customer service. The Downtown staff were very rude with their sighs of annoyance, rolling their eyes and just crappy attitudes when I went there. I've not gone back to that branch since and also almost left the bank completely. Their app is ok but the website gives

My husband and I are relatively new to Community Bank, but we jumped aboard when an employee at our other bank left, and joined Community. Not only did we, but so did my husbands godmother. Sometimes its not the bank itself, but yet its the amazing employees that make the bank.
