“I just purchased my first jeep, I was pleasantly surprised to encounter such a good salesman, his name was Xavier, he didn’t have a whole lot to work with because the price was already dropped way below MSRP but he still figured out how to make a deal I would be happy with, Good job Xavier. I had a couple issues the next day I did not notice at my test drive and they brought me right back in and made sure I was Happy with my purchase. They went right to work making sure all is good. “5 STAR for sure! Ron At AAMCO in Zanesville Went above and beyond to help diagnose and fix the problem with my car. I was told by another
transmission place in Coshocton that I needed a new transmission, but when Ron’s guys looked at my car they not only fixed my mechanical problem but determined that it was a simple sensor that needed replaced on my transmission which saved me thousands of dollars. I highly recommend and would myself use them again. They were honest with me, got my car running great, And Ron Kept me informed through the whole process, was very kind and I just can’t say enough about this place. Will definitely use again if needed! A few months back when I first had A problem, the engine light came on, I took my car to the auto parts and they put the machine on and it said it was a sensor in the transmission. When I took it to this local transmission shop in Coshocton they kept my car overnight, charged me $50 and said that I would need a new transmission which would be about $4000. But I was not going to replace that transmission since it’s still seem to be running so good so when I had another problem and took it to Aamco, this second opinion confirmed what the auto parts store had said. I am a widow that is only working a strict commission job so honesty means everything to me, not being taken advantage of and I would 100% trust Ron at Aamco with all of my car needs from now on! I’ve had my car back now for a week, no check engine light and it’s running perfectly!Thank you so much Ron and Aamco for a job well done! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ *update two years later*. Still driving the same car with no transmission issues. So the transmission place in Coshocton was 100% wrong. A simple sensor was the problem so Zanesville Aamco transmission is my go to, and I would not trust the transmission place in Coshocton. Saved me over $4000 for a wrong diagnosis in Coshocton thank you.Ron!*”
“I've been buying tires online for the last four sets of tires. When I called City Tire to arrange installation for my newest set, he asked if he could compare his price with the online price. I humored him, thinking that there's no way he can beat the online price. He was able to beat the online price by 50 dollars per tire. They also diagnosed and replaced a faulty TPMS sensor in my right front wheel. Fantastic service and great price. Tires were ordered and received in two days, installation was done while I waited in the courtesy massage chairs!”

“Had a 10 am appointment. Arrived 15 minutes early, windshield out by 10. Concern about dash cam was taken care of. Had paint chipping off windshield pillars. they covered the exposed metal with black sealant. Now looks like black molding surrounding windshield. Went well above and beyond. Highly recommend.”

Dave is not afraid to tell you no if something you are asking him to do is not what he feels is in your best interest. Dave is extremely knowledgeable, fair, patient and understanding. “We’re a hooklift upfitter based in Michigan, and recently we sent a driver out to deliver a Kenworth T880 to North Carolina. During a fuel stop, the truck started throwing battery codes. We reached out to a few local Diesel repair companies, but unfortunately, they either didn't have mobile repair or weren't even willing to give us the time of day.
Then we called Hughes, and from the very first conversation, we were met with friendly, helpful service. Instead of immediately dispatching a technician, they took the time to walk our driver through a few potential fixes over the phone, trying to save us some money in case it was a simple issue. That level of honesty and customer care is rare!
Unfortunately, it turned out the batteries were shot and needed to be replaced. Hughes promptly sent someone out to jump-start the truck so it could be driven to their shop. Once there, they unhooked the bad batteries and even drove our driver to the nearby Kenworth dealership to pick up replacements. After returning, they installed the new batteries and ran a few tests to ensure everything was functioning properly.
This was hands down one of the best service experiences we’ve had. The team was communicative throughout the entire process, and it’s clear they take pride in their work and genuinely care about their customers. While I hope we never have a driver break down on a delivery again, If it does happen I hope we are close to Zanesville OH so we can give Hughes a call again.”
“I made the unfortunate decision to buy a Powerhorse portable generator from Northern Tools three years ago. I do not know if they work on other brands, but Sagle is a service center for them. I have had to take it in twice for repairs and both times they quickly found the problem and got it running again. Joe is the generator guru and very knowledgeable. I recommend him and Sagle 110% if your portable generator needs repair.”

“Grubb Hitch,RV & Trailer Center is the BEST. I am a full time traveler. I was going East to Massachusetts from Missouri and my 5th wheel brakes started acting up. I found out about Grubb through the Campground I was staying in ( Wolfies Campground) in Zanesville Ohio. I called Grubb made an appointment for Wednesday 09/10/2025 dropped my camper off at 0815 and received a call from Grubb at 1130 that my camper was finished. AMAZING TURNAROUND.
Scott and his crew are amazing. Complete brake job in just a few hours. I took the camper out for a ride to seat the brakes and I am happy with job.

“Around Christmas/ New year my 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo started to have some problems revving past 3 rpm’s. Later realized it had went into limp mode and was not sure what the issue was causing it. They ended up finding the issue (was the catalytic converter) and once approved fixed the issue in a very timely manner. They were kind, honest, and professional. I would 100% go back here!”

“Our experience with Y City Automotive was AMAZING! We were passing through Zanesville on a long cross county road trip when our breaks went out and we got into a car accident. We got our vehicle towed to the shop and they agreed to check everything out for us right away! All of the mechanics, especially Rony and Jason, were EXTREMELY kind throughout the entire process. We needed new break lines and a new windshield. They ordered the parts for the brakes right away and even though they don't do work on windshields, they referred us to a local shop nearby. Jason actually called the shop for us to set up the soonest appointment. The glass shop, King's Autoshop, handled the windshield repair speedily and affordably as well. We came in late afternoon and they had fixed the brakes before 10am the next day. Since our windshield was busted up, they even had one of the technician drive our vehicle to the windshield shop while we followed behind in one of the mechanics cars.
As 2 women traveling with an older vehicle (a 92'), it is so difficult to find mechanics who are trust worthy. But this was no issue with Y City. They took care of everything our car needed for a good price and quickly. The experience and customer service was above and beyond! They even called to check on us hours after we left, because they knew we were getting right back on the road again. We almost wish that we were locals so this could be our regular shop! 1000/10! Would recommend!
