Always a great experience when I’m at the Sleep Number store in Boardman. I have shopped there for many years and will continue to do so due to the exceptional customer service I receive.

Awful experience. Went there today to buy a bed during their Memorial Day sale. Male salesman that wasn’t even helping us interjected himself into our conversation and then continued his childish behavior with an extremely rude comment directed towards me. My girl and I decided to leave without making a purchase. On the way out we told the saleslady that was actually helping us that we were leaving and her buddy cost her a sale. He then came outside and was sarcastically waving bye to us as we were driving away. I wouldn’t have guessed Sleep Number was in a position to chase away business since we were the only customers in the store at the time but maybe they were expecting a post-picnic rush and didn’t need my sale.

We are returning. Filed a complaint with BBB due to the negligence, the sales associate Jacob misrepresented and opened a credit card account without my permission, plus never was told this was an air mattress and the Base is non returnable. So many things left out of this transaction. Had to contact the credit company, credit bureau and my bank. We were in the process of buying a new home and I clearly stated this and told him we do not need a credit card and he clearly new we could not afford to have a hard pull. He even started talking about his house hunt experience when he purchased an home and he understood. I’m just very disappointed and livid. The bed is uncomfortable and God forbids we ever had electricity shutdown worldwide. The bed would be FLAT. Not including that you will be paying a higher electricity bill to keep yourself at float. Might not be a whole lot of difference but all adds up at the end. They will tell you they have a payment plan and it’s a soft pull and it’s to just see if you qualify for payment plan since they are running a special on this program. Please pass. I’m sure others was hustled too. Very disappointed and my credit score dropped 9 points then another 29 points. I work so hard to keep my credit score up. We have the money to pay this out in full. Why?!
