Schulte’s is the best thrift store in the Youngstown area and the nicest people ???

Today was my first time at this thrift store and I found great deals and the prices were reasonable and affordable, but these are the problems that I had:1. The aisles were really small and cramped, and I had to walk sideways in some of them.2. The bathroom is (and still is) at an inconvenient location.3. The place smelled like tobacco smoke.4. Also, I found out that they will take Cash App, but they only take Visa and Mastercard at the front of the front of the store with an $10 minimum.On the plus side, the staff were nice and friendly and the prices were reasonable and affordable.The media section is full of a VCRs, VHS tapes, video games, and vinyl records. There were also 8 track tapes and cassette tapes as well.Would I visit again? Yes, but the aisleways could be a lot wider and get rid of the tobacco smells.

Seems like they have good stuff but the lack of organization ruins the experience. It was hard to shop there because you can’t tell what order the clothes are in or what section to find your size in. I also didn’t see prices while I was looking.

Such a hidden gem in YT!! Not only were the prices fair but the selection and organization for a local thrift were beyond expectations. (Thank you for my beautiful aviators straight out of Fear and Loathing)

Friend is one of the nicest men I've ever met. It gives low prices to those who need a hand. He will always help you out in any way he can. He's very good for the community and he's just a genuinely nice person. His whole staff is very cordial and they will be a very attentive to your needs.

The building isn't in the best shape, and the inside is a bit of a mess because of lack of space for all the inventory they have. They did have a decent variety of products and found a few clothing items that were some hidden gems. Prices were cheap, and the lady that works there was very friendly and helpful. Overall, a very solid thrift and is a nice alternative to Goodwill.

I’ve seen Schulte’s several times in my Maps suggestions, but only today have I finally hit “Start route” and gone on an adventure.Schulte’s Thrift Yard is exactly that: an adventure. An adventure back in time and into others’ pasts. There’s something for everyone, from modern secondhand clothing to vintage to tools to glassware and collectibles.I picked up a few things and the owner was very kind about letting me know prices when I asked. There was even an extremely kind offer made when I was unable to afford something I had brought up to ask about. I’ll never forget that kindness and I hope someday I’m able to repay Schulte’s for it.I can’t wait to come back and bring my friends. This place is a total treasure trove, and there’s so much to look through and see!
