I’m writing this review 5 months after buying a car from this dealership, and I remember everything clearly. They advertised the car saying it was “mechanic inspected”, “The engine is functioning properly and has no issues. No check engine lights”, “The brakes are in good condition”.
Here’s a chronological order of all the issues I had after buying the car from them:
- When driving it home RIGHT AFTER buying it, the check engine light came on.
- Didn’t drive it for 10 days after that (was on holidays), but on the second day I was driving when I came back, the thermostat blew up. Luckily, Precision Auto group changed it for free so I’ll give them credit for that, but they also literally just sold me the car.
- The check engine light was still on and they told me to “not worry about it” and that they “couldn’t take it off”.
- After the thermostat experience, I decided to take the car to no.1 Cochran to get it properly inspected (should have done that before buying the car ?). I will join some pictures of their diagnosis, but I paid $4,000 to get it fixed enough for me to safely drive around.
- The mechanics at no.1 Cochran told me that the brake pads were badly worn out as well as the brake discs (remember that precision auto group said that the brakes were in good condition). After test driving the car and before buying it, I asked them why the brakes were sliding a lot, and they told me that it was because it hasn’t been driven in a while and it should fix itself over time. Well they lied to me and I believed it. After getting it inspected from no.1 Cochran, I found out the real state of the brakes.
- In that same visit I got told that the engine had missing parts. You will see on the bill from the inspection at no.1 Cochran what they had to fix in the engine, and it was lot (explains the check engine light that I got told not to worry about by precision auto group)
- Before buying the car, Precision Auto group told me they couldnt fix the tire pressure light (but it had new tires so I was fine with it). Turns out the car didn’t have tire pressure sensures (which they must of been aware of but didn’t tell me). That issue was okay with me but I wanted to mention that they hid that from me before buying the car.
- A month and a half after buying the car, I had to change the catalytic converter because it was badly degraded. I’m only saying this to show how bad the state of the car was before I bought it, but it was the risk I took coming to this dealership.
Overall, choosing to buy a car with a good price as it is from this dealership was my mistake, but they sold me something really unsafe to drive around and the worst is that they lied on their advertising online and to me to my face on the state of the car.
I’ll include pictures of the advertisement and my first expensive visit at no.1 cochran right after buying the car.

Wonderful experience they went above and beyond for me like I’d recommend them over and over again this my second time buying from them an will always return if ur looking for a great car an wonderful service come here the experience is just something u have to experience on ur own u want regret it ??????

Honestly never had an experience at a shop like this! They are so caring for their customers. I was offered refreshments and greeted immediately . I had a situation where my warranty company screwed me over and the owner of this shop did everything he could to advocate for me and try to get the warranty company to do what they were supposed to. Very kind people and excellent workers! Thanks

Original Comment: Kevin picked us up from our home in Struthers, We were interested in buying a Sienna van. Unfortunately, the vehicle's we looked at weren't exactly what we had in mind. We require a vehicle that would be "Roadworthy" no rust, good tires and brakes. They weren't even worth taking them out the driveway. OF COURSE, they were too busy to take us home. They left us stranded. Horrible experience! Buyer Beware!
Rebuttal To Response: YEAH-NO! Thank you for the quick response. It's called "Damage Control."
Simplified; You offered to pick us up in Struthers to view your vehicles. We didn't see anything of Value in your lot, you being the passive aggressive person you are then "suddenly became busy." No big deal we're survivors we'll make it back home with or without your help - hence noticing a bus route that would take us away from your presence.
So your Long "Apology" meant nothing bcz it was insincere and full of excuses.

Excellent 5-star service, fantastic staff, especially Nasar "my brother from a different mother" and Moe. I purchased a used 2011 Honda Pilot SUV. After missing out on one, Nasar promised that he will find me a better one and he did. They had the vehicle detailed and ready with the paperwork, in no time. I recommend Precision Automotive Group to anyone who is looking or thinking about buying a good used car.

I have visited many Auto shops to buy or repair cars….But this is the most friendly place you can ever visit to buy a car or repair a car. I highly recommend doing business with them.

If I were to write every single possible good thing there is to say about a business it would all go here. This is the place you want to do business! Top notch quality!! Wonderful people, incredible service, exceptional work, skilled, knowledgeable and the fairest prices! You don’t just leave here a happy customer, you also make new friends! Great experience. The staff went beyond what was necessary to let me know I made a good choice of purchasing my car from here. I had a minor problem a couple of weeks after buying my car and even though I bought "as is," they let me bring the car in for service and took care of the problem. I'd recommend buying from here. A good variety of automobiles to choose from.

I would highly recommend Precision Automotive!! My wife now has a wonderful '09 Toyota Matrix that is perfect for her. Everyone at Precision was welcoming and friendly, making us feel like family! They took the time to make sure that the car was ready to go, taking care of any and all issues before we drove away. I really like the fact that they are expert mechanics and service the cars they sell. They were really honest and did not pressure us, and I look forward to going back in the future!

A great experience here! Each and everyone who works here is so kind and makes sure you have everything you need before you drive off the lot. They stand behind every car they have and are very open about fair about any purchase you make. Love my car, they checked it over multiple times and ironed out even the smallest issues before I was given the keys. Would recommend to anyone on the hunt for a car!

I came here to get my car serviced after my rack and pinion was leaking. They did a phenomenal job replacing it, the work was very clean and customer service was top notch. Will definitely come back for more service.
