Employees put not one but two price stickers on a product with other similar things on a shelf. When I go to checkout clerk tells me it’s not for sale and gives me an excuse about how they use it for display. Waste of my time standing in their long line. How are you going to price a product (that you get for free) and then not sell it to a customer that wants to spend money? Get it together.

Prices too high for used clothes. Store changed their look. Nothing good there! They are trying to be like Salvation Army prices. I stopped shopping there as well. Might as well go to the mall or kohls.

Prices are climbing while amenities are down. No restrooms and dressing rooms closed all still labeled as "Temporary" when it is clearly the new policy going forward as they have been closed for four years. Return policy is difficult if not impossible, particularly in light of no dressing rooms.
This used to be an amazing location and once had my full five star raves - but since the remodel the stock and services appear to be lagging.
*** Staff is wonderful and friendly as always ***

I visited the 285 Boardman- Canfield Rd today 4/16/2024 to make a clothing donation and couldn't have been more pleased. The gentleman manning the drop off area was courteous and efficient. I was hesitant about using this location because of the poor reviews I saw online. I will definitely use this location again.

Underrated. Good finds. Small labels that don’t cover bar codes.

This is a good place to find some cheap DVDs and Blu-Rays. Their selection of available DVD seasons is somehow pleasantly surprising. Too bad I already owned the complete series of Entourage, otherwise I would've found the majority of the seasons here. I don't normally get shoes at Goodwill, so I can't really say anything about how they price their shoes.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I used to be a regular customer shopping here 3 times or so a week. I’m extremely and utterly disappointed in the price gouging. Something needs to be done and done quickly. $30+ dollars for a used pair of Nike shoes is absolutely ridiculous. They had t-shirts, hoodies that were name brand marked up to $20+. Toys that were broken, dirty or missing parts are also concerning. I don’t understand what’s happening here. I’ll be giving my business too Salvation Army moving forward.

A year ago I would of given a five star review, but their prices have gotten RIDICULOUS!!!! $20+ for used shoes just because they have a brand name on them..$4.00 for a broken toy, like so broken the battery cover and airplane wings were not with it. $20 for a chipped up baking dish just because it was cast iron with enamel, it was not even in good condition!! I was a frequent Goodwill shopper in the past, but hallelujah they cured my addiction as it is no longer fun when you feel you can get a better bargain on Amazon or at Walmart ☹️

Terrible management the prices are beyond overpriced…THESE are USED AND DONATED items…pricing shoes at $25-$50 is absurd and an insult to local shoppers’ intelligence. Someone needs to do something and quickly before they lose a multitude of longtime loyal customers due to the fact that they don’t understand the meaning of “second hand merchandise”.

They've officially lost their minds with the cost of items on the shelves in this store. Do they not understand the term Second hand??? How are you going to price a pair of used converse Chuck taylors for $25??! They cost $40 brand new! Everything is absolutely without a doubt highly overpriced. Someone a little higher up needs to step in or this store will lose many many loyal longtime customers. The new management needs new management. Plates for $10??! Seriously?! A vinyl record $15??? GTFO....no really...get out. Sorry for the rant but someone's gotta say it. And hopefully someone who needs to see it, sees it. #secondhandshopperslikesecondhandprices

The manner in which some employees harass and disrespect others. Thievery by employees, adverse conditions for workers, and overpriced items. A certain employee shouldn't be working there or anywhere else. (Rick).

Boardman Goodwill has really been disappointing in the last 6 months. The prices have really gone up and the selection is down.I see masses of large boxes in the back full of donations while the shelves are empty especially in the housewares section. The one positive thing is that I am spending less money there.

Dropped off a full truck load of toys and clothes. Had a real small toy stroller the guy told me they won't except...... Which is weird but OK. So there was a dumpster I went to throw it in and he said it's their dumpster and we are not allowed. Lol literally just donated probably over a thousand dollars of items they are going to sell but I couldn't throw a toy so it didn't fly out of the back of my truck on the way home. Will be donating elsewhere

I took luggage and clothing there that my daughters no longer wanted. All name brands and expensive. One of the workers took the items and walked them straight to the dumpster without looking at them. Will never donate here again.
