“It was good to get out & shop around, I picked DG on canfield road because they have a variety of stuff to choose from and prices are affordable for everyone.Its a pleasant & comfortable atmosphere the staff is always willing to help you find items at reasonable prices.always getting knew stock & lots of different stuff to choose from.Iam pleased with Dollar general and will continue to shop there!!!! “About a year and a half ago, my husband and I were friendly with everyone who worked there. Now that this store has been closed due to the fire last year, we most likely know no one. If that’s the case, we’ll go to Austintown, even though we’re local to this particular store. The opening soon sign has been posted for quite a while with no actual opening in sight. “I walked in there one day and the lady still 1/2 sleep from the night before was my cashier. I heard a Michael Jackson song and started singing along to it. “Store was neat and orderly. Items weren't just thrown on shelf and no boxes blocking isles unlike the Hermitage store. A lot of great selection easy to what your looking for. Great store to shop in. Friendly cashiers. Parking lot is easy to get in and out of plenty of space to park. I very much recommend this Dollar Tree location.”
“when i asked the clerk where the Trac-Phone(TM)'s are, they just kept givng me a weird look and ignoring my constant howls, because i am a wolf inside.. i just kept barking and they refused to tell me in wolf lanaguage where the Trac-Phgone(TM!)'s are. Very lowsy but i would probably come here again once my wolf powers have deactivated. Sorry i smelled kind of stinky, im very self aware of it. “This is a newer and smaller store but don't let that deceive you! They still have plenty of products that the other dollar stores around have! Also they have a large freezer food section. Very clean store”

“As you know, this location closes at 10 PM, I went in there at about 9:55 because my daughter was bothering me about a charger for her phone. I’ve worked for Dollar General before and I also work in retail so I understand how at the end of the night you have so much to do to prepare for the morning shift. I ran into two of the nicest guys I’ve ever met in my entire life! They didn’t give me attitude for coming in five minutes before closing. They even helped me find the right charger.! They were awesome and I appreciate that!”

“Everyone spoke when I came in accept the girl who was stocking shelves but she didn't even see me because she was doing her job.. I didn't get followed around like I was a criminal it was a peaceful enjoyable shopping experience. I should have went there instead of Walmart. There wasn't a crowd or long lines to stand and wait”
“This is the closest Dollar Tree to me, however, there are around 8 or 9 within a couple mile drive. While not my first choice, they have been getting better with stocking the shelves. Rarely are boxes in the aisles, however, I got a peek into the storage room and the amount of unshelved product is astounding. I wish there was more turnover if products in the health and beauty section; I see other Dollar Trees with viral products and never see them at mine. The workers are fairly friendly, especially the older gentleman. He speaks every time I'm in - and I go 4 to 5 times a week.”

“This was always my quick go-to place, but now they remodeled, and it is even better! I must not have been there in a while because I was really surprised at the changes! The refrigerators are all new, and they completely changed the store layout! They also added a self checkout which will be nice when the place gets busy.”
