My friends and I visited Ascend and had such an amazing time! The staff and other climbers were so welcoming and kind to a bunch of us who were first time climbers! Overall an incredible environment and definitely worth a visit!

Nice gym that offers bouldering, yoga/yoga studio, weight training room, slack-lining, on-site drinks/snacks, retail store for climbing gear, and a family staff.The gym has two treadmills and bikes. ASCEND Youngstown, formerly Transcend Bouldering Lounge, is a community hub for new and experienced climbers alike. We provide a gathering place where your climbing friends become your family. Our space consists of 3,000 square feet of bouldering and a wall height of 16 feet. With over 80 problems on a regular rotation set by professional route setters, you will always find something to challenge yourself on.
