I hired Apollo because the consultant seemed to know what he was doing. What a nightmare! Took two days to pack & load -- did not pay attention to what stayed & what went -as a result lots of thing were brought here that were supposed to stay. Gave all those items to the worker. The manager was not up to the job. He made all the mistakes -- not the workers who worked hard. Packed things that were not supposed to go made the weight go over so had to pay more. The icing on the cake was, I took insurance out, a cellarette was broken, claim was denied because the person processing the claim did not know that the cellarette was wood, layered with gesso - like old picture frames - then painted. She said it was glue without ever looking at it in person. What a joke, would not hire that company again to haul garbage. We treated them quite well, but when push comes to shove, they need a new manager! They are a part of Allied Van Lines. Beware of this outfit! Cost me a small fortune then would not honor a small claim.

I am going to start this review by stating that the ground level crew, the ones that did the actual moving, were very kind and well-mannered, and timely in what THEY did. On the day of our move, the truck that our things was packed on suffered a mechanical failure before it could even leave the Storage Unit park where most of our belonging were stored. We were making a move all of a 2 and a half hour drive away. I understand that mechanical failures happen, but they were unwilling to transfer it to another truck, and when I called 48 hours later, I was told that they had no other trucks to use, and was fed a line about how they were unwilling to transfer my things to another vehicle anyway, as it increased the chances of something possibly breaking. That tells you the confidence the company has in its employees. In the end, it took them eight days to actually get my things delivered to me all of two and a half hours away. I am a disabled man, and my specialty equipment was on the truck that allowed me independent movement around my house. On top of it, an entire freezer full of food was on the truck that was lost. I have since been told that it is not the company's policy to take those materials. When I responded that whether or not it is their policy, they did indeed take it, I was given no answer. No refund of any sort, partial or full was offered, even after I prompted them to make amends on their own. My wife had taken an entire week off of work in the anticipation that she would be putting things away and setting us up in the house, and we could do nothing. We had to borrow a bed off of my in-laws, and a chair for me to sit, as I literally had no furniture to use at all, let alone my specialty equipment. They were unwilling to spare any other trucks in any way in order to get me my belongings. Again, I want to reiterate that this move was all of 2 and a half hours away. Not cross-country or anything long distance. I would highly suggest never using this mover in any way, as they have no integrity at all about how they deal with their responsibilities or their customers, and it has been nothing short of a constant headache the entire time. If I were able to, I would rate this at 0 stars and leave it at that.

We were very pleased with Apollo. Leonard and his staff (movers and office) are professional individuals. They were able to meet our time and even helped move items from our house to garage. Jim & Roberta Marburger

We just hired Apollo Moving & Storage to move our furniture from Butler to New Castle. They showed up on time, were friendly, very careful with our furniture and fast! Our move was quoted for 8 hours and they were done in 5! Would highly recommend them!

My husband and I absolutely 110% recommend Apollo Moving and Storage! The guys were calm, polite, and reassuring. Not only that, but they truly worked hard! There was no down time. Barely any breaks in the action- These men made a difficult move seem effortless-I got a call the day before our move and I was told I had nothing to worry about-they were right! We had a great experience! Thank you Glenn, Matt, Matt, Tyler, Frank, and Lee you guys always have a place in our home! Best Wishes and Many Thanks!!

Movers beware!! Initially Dennis came out to give us a quote to pack and move out house. We have large TVs and kept the original boxes which he was happy about so his guys wouldn't have to bring them. The day of packaging arrived, the packers were late and it took them 11 hours to pack he kitchen and bedrooms in a 2,100 sq.ft. house. They also stated that they couldn't pack the TVs because they weren't paid to do them, Dennis couldn't be reached and never returned our calls. Furthermore the house was never completely packed, bathroom drawers, closets & basement office all left as is. The day of the move came and they showed up with a box truck... I explicitly explained to Dennis that our move from Colorado 6 months prior required a semi. The movers took even longer than the packers and couldn't fit everything into the truck. They removed mattresses from boxes and tried cramming them into the truck while standing on our 75" TV. My wife was there while I was preparing our new house and the movers all but ignored her concerns stating that their manager demanded they "make it fit". 24 hours went by and no resolution on receiving our things so I contacted and attorney. Leonard from Apollo said that Alan from Allied was responsible and of course Alan said it was up to Leonard. Back and forth over dozens of phone calls and they will try to schedule another truck and team to the house to finish using a garage door code to get in and charge us an additional 10%. They still haven't packed the items remaining in the house so we'll need to do it. Moving is stressful for anyone and you deserve professionalism for the money you spend. Sadly, Apollo Moving (agent for Allied Van Lines DOT# 076235) are not the folks to deliver this service to you. DO NOT HIRE THEM!!
