I had a great experience here. Took my car in because the brakes started grinding and thankfully the gentleman who worked on my vehicle was able to complete the job that same day. He mentioned he did not want me driving on breaks that were metal to metal. I thought it was very kind that he was looking out for me.Thank you Tyler, you are a very kind person ?

I was visiting yellow Springs for a couple days and heard a weird sound coming from under the hood. Village Auto was able to work me in on short notice for a trip inspection to get back home safely. Very professional folks and can't recommend enough.

Had a slow leak from a valve stem went to Village Automotive to see if it could be repaired, it took a day for the supplier to deliver the part, and a few minutes ti replace the trouble making part and we were good to go. The folks there are friendly, professional , and thorough. I highly recommend stopping by if your vehicle needs some attention

This shop is fantastic! I finally found a shop that is trustworthy and professional. I don't switch mechanics easily but they have earned a new customer from me.I ordered a diagnostic for a loud sound coming from the front of my vehicle at high speeds. After bringing the car in, they drove me back to work (in my car) and instantly diagnosed not only the main issue (bad wheel bearing) but also that I might have loose sway bar links based on the other sounds. All this before we got to my workplace 5 mins away. What I appreciated most is that they explained to me WHY that sound was happening and what I could do to diagnose this myself in the future. All without me having to ask! After taking a closer look, they confirmed that diagnosis and fixed it on time and without charging me for the diagnostic. They then showed me the old part and explained how it worked and what went wrong with it. They explained these concepts to me very clearly and again, without me having to ask! My car is running better than it has in months. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're looking for a truly professional auto repair experience.Services: Oil change

I took my car in to get one slow draining tire changed.that seemed to go fine. they were communicative and fast. easy to work with.however, on the drive home, my tire pressure light came on.I stopped and checked my tires' pressure. every single one was inflated at a different psi. like, someone didn't even try to correctly inflate them.my car requires my front tires to be inflated at 36psi, and my rear to be inflated at 33psi. this is easily found on the driver's side door, in the manual, or at the very least with a cursory google search. it is not hidden information. The front tires were at 30 and 31. The back passenger was at 38! And the other rear was at twenty flipping 6.I've had the dealership misinflate my tires, but that was by putting them ALL at 32psi, which if you don't double check, is just kind of standard for inflation. the wildly differing inflations in all 4 tires (in which someone almost had to let air OUT of the one that was at 26) is not the same as filling them to kind of an industry standard.as soon as I filled them properly, the light went off and the car is fine. I don't want to ascribe malicious intent to anyone, but at the very least it was sloppy, lazy, and at the worst dangerous and a potentially expensive fix.this was the first time I'd used this facility as it is about 2 minutes from my home, and it's unfortunately the last. I feel like a tire change and inflation is the bare minimum a mechanic should be able to perform properly. all trust was lost when this simple procedure was performed so terribly.Service: Tyres

Had a blower motor go out causing no heat on a morning with 0 degree temps. Got me in and part delivered and fixed same day. Gave me a ride back home in the village so I didn't have to wait and picked me up when it was done. Always great service!

I can't thank Tyler and Ben enough for the excellent service today. They came to my rescue after my car had a dead battery on this cold morning. They picked up my car, replaced the battery and brought the car back to me. Village Automotive is highly recommended.
