I recently switched my vet and started going to Docton Animal Clinic. I am glad I did. The staff is extremely nice and very professional. Our dog Marley has an extremely bad hip and had to have surgery. The veterinarian at this clinic took her time examining our Marley and then referred us to an amazing vet surgeon in Columbus. Marley was barely be able to walk prior surgery but made an amazing recovery thanks to the surgeon and later to the post surgery care at Docton's. ** update We are still patients and am happy to have found this place.

I've been going to this clinic for 40+ years. We love Dr Gayle. She is the best. The reason why I give this facility 2 stars is because it is nearly impossible to schedule an appointment. If you call, 6 months out. They want you to call first thing in the morning to "see" what's available. This is not conducive to my lifestyle as I work full time and have limited hours. To definitely know when I have an appointment is easier to take off work. I am heart broken that I will need to find another vet to take care of my 4 dogs but its nearly impossible to get past the receptionist. Xenia, Ohio

This is the best place in the world to take your pet ! Dr. Gale and others are the the most kind and competent people you'll find ! Recently had to say goodbye to our 16 year old Annie. They couldn't have made the experience more peaceful for me ! I don't live in town but will bring my dog here !

Wow. The doctors here are so invested in their patients. They are so kind and compassionate. Not only do they deliver the best care, when our dog was really sick two of the docs called us regularly to check in on our pup and on us. I will never go anywhere else.

I just moved to the area and I've taken both my dogs there for their first check up and one had a teeth cleaning. I like them. The staff are really nice and they all seem to really love what they do. There was a mix up on the dates for when I was suppose to bring my dog back for a booster shot. The mix up meant I had to bring the dog back for another booster and they were like don't worry about it. This visit is on us. Price wise they are cheaper than Boston....well what wouldn't be cheaper than Boston :).

I used to go there all the time and trusted them with my cats. Live Dr Gale and Dr Imperial but it has turned into a craphole since Dr Matt became the new owner. Several misdiagnoses, high prices, and the ONE and ONLY time i ever saw Dr Matt he had no clue. I ended up taking my cat to OSU he was in ICU for several days and got better. And Dr Matt was not even going to send his bloodwork off until the next morning. We ended up at urgent care on dryden road before the transfer to OSU. Can you say malpractice? He said oh its just a seizure no reason. What a complete and utter idiot. I will NEVER go back there ever to give that man one red cent of my money.

I can't speak highly enough about Docton. I had a stray cat that I've been feeding for 3 years-very unfriendly and one I couldn't pet. He became very ill and I was beside myself about how to get him help. My current vet was not very helpful and reluctant to schedule an appt for this cat. I was finally able to trap him- called my vet who couldn't accommodate an appt. I called Docton where I've never been and was told to come right in. The staff was so friendly- the vet was wonderful- was so kind and caring towards this feral cat- gave me options and was willing to do what I felt was the right plan. They made a very stressful situation better. I have decided I will switch to this vet as I really value their compassion and kindness towards all pets.
