Called in and the guy was a real jerk. Before I could finish asking about all 3 issues with my car I was hung up on after being told to go seek someone who does “easy money jobs” I ended up finding Augustine automotive and they were very kind and knowledgable and said they knew exactly the problem I was talking about and could take the car no problem.

Called in to see if they would service a check engine code I have on a vehicle was told before I could even tell them what it was - “if you’re not a present customer, we’re not dealing with your headache jobs”. Super rude and impolite.

Loyal customer, I used this mechanic shop for over a year. I Took my car to them for all fixes and repairs. Then I realized there’s a big problem with why my car is always breaking down on me for related issues nearly every month. Thousands of dollars later and here I am unfortunately writing this bad review. My car has been at their shop for two weeks now so I called to check if they started working on it yet. They just rudely told me on the phone to “get this car out of here and towed somewhere else.” John and Becky are very friendly people but I’m afraid they may not know as much as the think they know. My mistake taking my car here in the first place.Services: Exhaust

John has done some of the best machine work for me through the years. Anytime I have a question on what I have, he has always gone to great lengths to explain it and help me to understand how it works. Excellent teaching skills too.

We've taken our vehicles to C & C Automotive for 20-plus years. We appreciate their quest to stay current in every aspect of the repair and maintenance of all makes and models of autos. No complaints after all this time, and we're extremely grateful, knowing that we are not being price-gouged and that inferior parts are not used in repairs. Totally satisfied.

This shop was recommended by a family member and it has been the best thing to happen to me and my F150! I have had my truck there twice, once to fix someone else's mistake and once to fix a blower motor that I didn't trust anyone else to do correctly. John and Becky are great and I will never trust my vehicle to anyone else! Great work, honest people and a fair price!!!

I started taking my cars to C&C when I was 16, that was 21 year ago. I moved down to centerville years ago, and still make the drive up to Xenia because John and Becky have always been nice and professional, they always take the time to explain what wrong in terms I can understand, the pricing is always fair, and the work has always been great. I recommend them to friends and family all the time, and am happy to do so.

Great business, professionalsb, excellent customer service. When I took my car in even though it was for my brakes they checked everything that could of caused any major issues free of charge. After the job was done they easliy explained what was wrong (to a point even a person that doesn't know much about cars would understand) with the car and had evidence (the broken parts) to prove it and suggested a brake kit and why it was important and a little more and at the end they said anytime you need something checked out or fixed just call if we don't answer leave a message and we will get back with you. I would recommend them to anyone

Family members recommended I bring my '96 Acura to this shop for a torn CV boot repair. I spoke with both owners over the phone, both were extremely nice and knew my family by name. I was quoted a fair price for the replacement of my axle, and scheduled the repair for the following day. Upon arriving to pick up my car the next day, I was informed of several other issues with my car. I expected this, as my car has been aging and since many of the repairs were more costly than the value of the car itself, I opted to let things go as this car was/is a beater. During the explanation of issues, the woman, Becky, did a very nice and courteous job of explaining all the problems that they noticed with my car. She was very clear about the fact that my car was not long for this world, and that the repairs it needed were extensive and costly. To give an idea of what were talking about: The exhaust is rusted, flanges failing, no muffler, missing pipe from catalytic converter to muffler, EGR system flow low, tire pressures low, tire wear uneven, AC condenser fins wearing off, issues with upper radiator coolant hose, leaking oil from rear seal and front oil pump on the engine, etc. Certainly not good, but apart from the tires, nothing that is/was a safety issue. I had also intended on buying tires from this shop before my experience here. My objective in obtaining their professional opinion from this shop was to gauge how soon I needed to replace the car. I have had this car for 5 years and put 100,000 miles on it and have been expecting to replace it soon. During Becky's detailed and professional explanation, the other mechanic, John, chimed in from across the room to berate me over the state of my car. A few quotes from him: "This car is a complete piece of s**** "What kind of monkeys have you had working on this s***** "You have severely neglected this car" "I am not happy about working on this junk", finally, dripping with sarcasm he stated "It's a real gem" Needless to say, I was offended by his lack of professionalism. Becky made an excuse stating they had a tough week. I understand that, but in all of my "tough weeks" I have personally never cursed at a customer or raked them over the coals for something as commonplace as driving a beater car. In short, the work and diagnostics were high quality and thorough. Had John simply kept his mouth shut, instead of giving into his urge to be senselessly rude, I would be very pleased with the service. If you don't mind paying someone to fix your car and curse at you when you pick it up, then this is the shop for you.
