“I switched to Hometown after getting frustrated with CVS, and I’m so glad I did. After my doctor’s appointments, my prescriptions are usually ready before I’ve even driven over to the pharmacy. Every staff member I’ve interacted with has been professional, friendly, and always willing to answer any questions.
They’re also very proactive; if they notice I’m running low on a prescription, they’ll call to ask if I’d like them to reach out to my doctor for a refill. I’ve never waited more than five minutes, and there’s rarely more than one person ahead of me.
My husband and I have been using Hometown for the past two years, and my only regret is not switching sooner. I can’t recommend them highly enough!”
“I have never had a really bad experience here in 15 years. I use the self checkout or scan. Wait times to get out are not bad. I will say I’ve had to wait a LONG time at customer service to return items. The auto place is another oddity … there is no one there and you have to ring bell and wait a few minutes. Food is fresh, store is clean. Selection is good, prices fair. I’ve never had an issue with the pickup orders which is amazing actually. Finally, their whipped desserts are really good … my entire family scarfed down this cake and I have really picky eaters with different tastes. We love the whipped desserts.”
“I only visited to pick up on online order. That was the quick and easy part. The online ordering process wasn't. Meijer's website was slow and cumbersome. Each item in a category was scattered across all the category pages. You'd be looking for peanut butter and find Skippy on page 2, Jif on page 6, Peter Pan on page 9, organic on page 10, and the store brand also on page 10. No similar items were ever listed together.”
“I love the service I get from all the folks here. I think it is pretty awesome when you call in and talk to them, and they treat you like family. Plus, they are very knowledgeable and usually on top of everything. They even offer delivery service, should you need it.”
“These guys are on it and I've always had my medicine same day, few hours after my appointment. Other places could make you want 2-3 days for a medicine which my life can be at risk without. The tech here are very compassionate and treat me with great care. I literally drive 15 mins from where I live to go here, originally it was only temporary, but the service here made it worth just staying here. Plus my father lives close to this one, so I always go see Dad after I get my medicine. I know that pharmacy tech work extremely hard and they deserve to be heard by the higher ups more frequently. Anyways thank you and to everyone whom works here”

“I typically enjoy this location, but customer service can vary. On 3/13/25 around 4:30 PM, the woman working in the café had both an unpleasant attitude and an unkempt appearance. Despite this experience, I'm giving the store 4 stars because I don't take such matters personally, especially when the person seems genuinely unhappy.”
“Maintained well. Issue is trying to get back on road from the direct exit from the gas station. You have to remember to exit either the back road behind Kroger or the far end of the kroger lot by Tim Hortons. If not, you usually take a mad dash across traffic because of no light signal on the main entee/exit.”
“We use their pharmacy and everyone there that I've spoken with is very helpful and kind. We also rely on them in the neighborhood for groceries. It's nice to have a convenience like that in town. The staff is always courteous and friendly here. It's a good little neighborhood store.”

I also always fill up the tank with gas as the price is usually good. They have a very liberal return policy. The prices for prescription drugs are great too. The pharmacist is always willing to check to insure I am getting the best price. I often pick up a cooked chicken as well because there is so much you can do with it at home.”

“I had a terrible experience with kroger, probably worse at walgreens.
Miejer is the best pharmacy I've worked with in 7 years. Period. They communicate,have consistent equalivent meds,help educate, and respond/resolve any issues I've had in a timely manner.
I'm now an advocate to anyone with medication to give Miejer a try. ( As far as I can see, if nothing changes, I will only use Miejer over all other pharmacies)”
“They do their absolute best, but you can tell they're overworked and understaffed sometimes. If you can't afford to go anywhere else, they will 100% take care of you, but some of the wait times are very long and they only have so much time for your appointments. I've had some trouble getting in person appointments when I need acute care. I don't blame any staff, they're all great, just too many patients.”
“I often see CVS pharmacies very well organized, but the new pharmacist her in HH really has pulled the mess together! Very helpful, patient and clean in the area as very well organized. She is an excellent multi tasker and prompt. CVS better keep her!”

“I get my serum eye drops made here and always great service. Friendly staff including Robin the Compound Pharmacist. Just one thing to note: their phones shutdown at 5pm. Not sure if whole Compound section of pharmacy closes that early.”

“If anyone needs to get HIV testing done, do it here! It is free and just going once gets you in contact with providers who are OPEN ABOUT ALL QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS. I left in happy tears just by the experience. Usually I opt for an oral exam from the pharmacy. I'm by myself and being anxious alone for that kind of result sucks. A nurse stayed with me the whole time and talked to me about Prep and other options. He even had someone come in to talk about financials. There is still a huge stigma unfortunately and I've witnessed it firsthand, at other locations. Here I felt safe, welcome, and there was no judgement. Instead of, "What do you want me to do?" It was "How can we help?" With any result, they are there to answer all questions and if they don't know, they don't hesitate to ask colleagues. I was a first time patient so there was paperwork involved but nothing too extensive. Oh and did I mention NO PROOF OF INSURANCE IS NEEDED FOR THE FREE BLOOD TEST! There isn't a catch. Next time you're at MJs or Masque, look for them. They have screenings outside the bars! Take advantage of this ya'll. They'll literally save your mentality and maybe even your life.”

“The pharmacist is always accurate they have great customer service they're always serving with the smile. And they always very concerned for the patients well-being and their medications. The only thing that I wish they would do like Walgreens is call you when you have medication that you haven't refilled that needs to be filled on a Time sensitive basis.”
