“I miss these beautiful ladies! So elegant, all of them. Such unique, in excellent condition and top notch clothing! Such a wonderful experience to go in and visit. Lol, when I brought in my clothes, I used to tease the owner, Mary, because of her always seeking to choose excellent clothing, I would say, "These items must be 'Maryworthy'." I meant it in the most endearing way. Some may think she is picky but Mary and her girls sure seems to know what folks like and need. This store is the best of the best as is all of the staff, always. I sure miss them all! Jen too. Is she still there? Since my last visit, perhaps in 2022, I've moved out of State. “Realized my suit did not fit the week of a wedding. So glad I came here!! The owner spent time with me to find everything I needed and help try on different jackets. Ended up with a custom made suit jacket and tie for $150! Highly recommend!”

“I went to The Pink Door to look for an outfit to wear to my son’s formal wedding. I had no idea where to start as I am just NOT a fancy person!! The owner of the shop was incredibly helpful and patient and pleasant and she helped me pick out an outfit that I love and feel comfortable in. There is so much unique and very pretty stuff in The Pink Door. I got a sophisticated jumpsuit, a lovely designer duster to wear with it, designer shoes, a belt, clutch and jewelry. “I love this store on West Broad! I have found what I needed 99% of the time, from unique things to clothing and home items.The new manager is really friendly and a people person. I met her while she was working the register (I love managers that are out helping the staff and clients instead of hiding in the back or at some office).Willie that works helping people with big/heavy items has the biggest heart I've seen in a retail store. No matter how busy he is (during the 50% off sale that man is running and sweating like crazy) he always has a big smile on his face and makes sure he helps everybody before taking a single break.He treats people with care giving each customer the special attention they deserve.Willie takes such pride on his work that once I was getting a small table by myself and when he saw me, since he was free, he came running to help me and told me to let him do his job lol. He took the table all the way to the register with his high spirits and kindness.And knowing that shopping here also helps people in need is definitely the icing on the cake. The perfect place for retail therapy because even if I'm buying something I might not even "need" the price is good and I'm helping a charity.I have shopped and donated items here for over 20 years and my husband says that I rarely just drop stuff off, it's more like an exchange lolI know prices have gone up since I started going there but hey, that's called inflation... same thing happened at the supermarket, gas station, etc...Thank you guys for being there and for the work that you do!”
“The UA Clothes Mentor is an experience! Yes, there is an expected amount of searching and hunting inherent in consignment shopping. But JODY and her team remove a great deal of what could be frustration from that experience for you! Through skilled use of their fashion knowledge and top tier customer service, the Clothes Mentor UA team has made shopping a joy rather than a task for me as a busy career woman. I am beyond thankful for them!”

“Pretty good location. I liked that they had some dishes on sale - I managed to get some nice ceramic bowls for .50/each thanks to a red tag. Not as many cookware options as the location in Clintonville on high street but it is much less busy here and I believe they also had more fitting rooms. Friendly staff. Would go again for sure”

“I bought 2 dresses from them in March and April! I bought one dress for a funeral service and the other dress for Easter! Both dresses each cost about $100! Both dressed are unique and fit the occasions perfectly! Their customer service is somewhat strict! Some of their sales people are nice and friendly! I will be back because they have a selection that Easton doesn't offer! Easton may be more pricey!”

Story: hoco dress shopping had become a nightmare. We asked the 2 working the counter for store suggestions. They both were very helpful. AND the fella!! (This part is impressive!) > he needed to use his phone to google, and before he did he stopped and asked permission from his boss!! Respect and concern for the consumer and the employer! They always have what I’m looking for and it’s always at a great price!! My sophomore year in high school I was invited to prom one week before it happened by a friend who had and extra ticket and I was unsure if I could get a dress in time, but i walked into Plato’s closet and BOOM! There was my prom dress. I might have just been lucky, but it fit me perfectly!!
Every time I walk into the store they have a ton of new clothes and shoes and other items!
The changing rooms kind of suck and it gets pretty hot in the store during summer (from what I’ve seen) but I still love it!!
I will probably continue going there to get last minute outfits for events for the rest of my life (until I’m old)
