The Ohio Railway Museum, located in Worthington, Ohio, is one of the oldest railway museums in the United States, founded in 1948. It is dedicated to preserving the important role railroads have played in the nation's history. Visitors can explore a wide range of historic locomotives, passenger cars, freight cars, and other railway artifacts. A highlight of the museum is the trolley ride along the original Columbus, Delaware, and Marion (CD&M) right of way, providing a nostalgic experience of train travel. While the museum may be small, it offers fascinating equipment and friendly, knowledgeable staff eager to share information about the history of the trains. Many visitors recommend it as a great place for families and rail enthusiasts, noting its affordable prices and welcoming atmosphere. Although some expressed a desire for more restored trains to explore, the overall experience is enjoyable, making it a delightful spot for a unique outing. With ongoing improvements planned, The Ohio Railway Museum is well worth a visit, especially for those in the Columbus area.

Small hidden gem. Nice for a family outing and some history. The kids had fun, but definitely something you only need to see once or every once in a Blue moon. Affordable, attentive and friendly staff. No complaints here.
