"Old School" gym feel. Equipment is good, but the place in general is very dirty. All of the cardio machines look like they've never, ever, been cleaned. Locker room/bathroom/showers have lights falling out of the ceiling and mildew.
The monthly rate is good, but they get you with initiation fees and the annual fee (March).
Update 2/15/24- it hasn't been too crowded anymore with the groups of kids. Also, raising to 4 stars because everyone at the check in desk is really nice and says hello/have a nice night.

The facility poses a biohazard risk, with consistently unclean air and malfunctioning equipment that takes months to repair. The bathrooms have been in disrepair for two years, emitting a constant unpleasant odor, but the only upside is its affordability.

Good old gym, but dirty as heck. Nothing ever gets fixed. Dust is CAKED everywhere. You can see it clinging to the walls. The water in the bathroom has a weird smell.

shout out to fellow Ohio gym rat Sam Sulek for turning me onto this gym via YouTube. Great old school vibed joint with lots of free weights(iron plates) and older style machines(ex. Nautilus Pullover) love it! whenever I'm back in the Cbus area I will visit again!!!

If “hard work and motivation” was a gym, this would be it. There’s Ample parking, It’s clean, thoughtfully organized and has several versions of almost every machine. There’s no waiting around for leg presses here! The weights are organized and community spaces are clean and well taken care of. The gym culture takes the experience to the next level. People are working HARD, encouraging one another and taking care of the shared spaces. It’s easy to get motivated just by walking in. You see body builders, soccer moms, , Silver Sneakers members, teens, total beginners,.. you name em, they’re there getting a workout. The boot camp class on Saturday is LIT.? Great music, great vibes, and lots of push factors everywhere. If you’re looking for a gym home or something to spice up your fitness routine I’d highly recommended Metro Fitness.

I'm giving it a 4, mainly because there's a guy with a blue hat that grunts and talks alone all the time and records with a camera. Sick place tho.

I went to this gym on a day pass, as I was traveling to Columbus just for the day and needed a place to workout. I chose this gym one because of how close in proximity it was to Polaris. Checking in was easy. The front desk guy was super nice and helpful. Everyone was nice and friendly, and was greeted with a smile. The women’s locker room was very clean and smelled great. The locker shelves do need a wipe down as a ton of dust. There was plenty of cardio equipment and just as much weights (because gyms usual have more cardio equipment than weights) and literally had amazing pieces some that my own gym doesn’t even have. I would definitely love to come back and do a leg day here. You can tell everyone cares for the equipment they wipe it down after every use. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was a few things. The dumbbell set up is weird in my opinion, and I wish there was a rack for all the attachments rather than just sitting them in a small bin on the floor. There were more than enough cable machines, not enough attachments in my opinion. Overall it is a great gym for the beginner, expert, and everyone in between. If I ever move to Columbus I will definitely consider this as a gym to become a member at.
