Love this place; this is my preferred type of gym. Every type of athlete from the body builders to the first day in the gym group. Heavy weights (not mine of course, those 12 pounds were always in the same place when I got back), old school and new school equipment. Staff is awesome. Not for everyone, but if you are really trying to gain or need some good advise from some real lifters this is where you want to be.

Amazing chill staff, the equipment was pretty old but still had a variety. Gym isn't as packed and the environments amazing.

Joined this gym in March and have never felt more at home. I am used to class environments like Orange Theory but could never be consistent. Now, I workout six days a week as well as attend a class every Wednesday at this gym. Best decision I've made this year. I wish I joined sooner.

Looking through other reviews I have to come in and give it some justice. This gym may not be for everyone. This gym is a lot more old school with free weights and a bit more heavy lifting machinery. I don't go to the Top Steak House expecting a modern vibe then leave a bad review because they are not up to date with the latest trend. If you're looking for a gym with a lot of free weights but still has a bit of everything else for an affordable price then you will like it.

This is the first gym I have ever gotten a membership with, and I am so glad that I did!! I love it here! Everyone is friendly, and it doesn't feel "judgy" everyone's just there to lift weights, and mind their own business. I often hear girlfriends who have memberships with competing gyms who talk of men staring and being creepy, but I have yet to experience that here. Which really just adds to why I feel comfortable coming here.

I live over an hour away. And get canceled on when I’m 30 mins away... got the text that it was canceled an hour before I’m suppose to be there. I guess my fault for wanting to get there early

The membership cost is very reasonable here, about $25-$30 per month as of the date I signed up a few months ago. There's no contracts or any commitments here, so you're free to try it out without being trapped for years. Luke the guy at the front desk is informative and knows everyone by name. The gym is about the size of a warehouse filled with different machines and a wide selection of weights. They have turf and truck tires I believe as well. The Men's locker room just recently updated their lockers and has showers. Afterwards, you can purchase products from their little lounge room with couches and a TV and chill out. That's all great, but the BEST part about this gym that really makes it stand out from others in the area is that they have a "heavy room". You can lift heavy with lots of plates or hugeass dumbbells that go up to up to like 200 lbs or something crazy, and you don't have to worry about your noise level here while blasting your Heavy Metal on their speaker. I think it's great they have a separate room for hardcore lifters that way it doesn't disturb the others, since this seems to be a big conflict at a lot of gyms. There's a few gyms in the area and this one is the one you make real progress at.

You know some guys here be on steroids lmao. The gym itself gives off a very raw old school feel. Everything is iron, nothing is wrapped in rubber like you find at LA fitness or others. The equipment is a bit older, but again like I said - the gym is old school iron. If you want to just get down to business and lift, this is the place to be. The environment itself motivates you and makes you want to push your limits.

I've been to this gym three times. First time a girl helped me she was extremely nice and helpful. I got a membership here through my employer bc it's not a "metro" membership they were reluctant to let me in when they are contracted with my employer. Twice they didn't know how to handle it. I felt like they didn't even try to understand or learn. Called on the phone and I was told to call back when the manager was available bc once again they had no clue as to what I was talking about. If you don't understand something please try to learn and help your customers.

This gym is well known in the community for its role with the Arnold Classic. Having said that, you would expect a really great gym experience. Now I understand that the experience may not include state of the art equipment because Arnold didn't train with all that fancy stuff, but you expect equipment that works. A lot of the pins are missing to select weights, forcing you to jam pins into holes that are too small creating a very unsafe situation. Some of the benches are so old that you can not adjust them because part of the pin is broken or rusted/froze. They have a large space and they recently created a "turf" area which in theory is nice but would have been better invested into some of their equipment that is used frequently. Many of their weights are bent from people dumping them on the ground. They have a lot of space and can totally revamp and work with what they have but it doesn't seem like their focus or care is there. As long as their posing classes and weekly karate, cardio or personal training sessions go they could care less about everything else. I have been to other locations and they are also outdated but at least they have working equipment. This is the worst location out of them all.
