Ambiance and view from back deck is wonderful! The desserts was fabulous. I recommend getting the salad, not the pasta.

Beautiful furniture and home decor items in a restored multi - level barn on a Pine Tree nursery. Some items are quite unique and possibly for collectors. Don't miss the opportunity to have lunch there! Outstanding selection of salads, soups, sandwiches, quiches and excellent desserts. Prompt, friendly service. Reservations are recommended. Just outside of Wooster in Shrieve Ohio.

Pine tree farm, furniture/decoration shop and restaurant. My wife spends hours and dollars here. The restaurant is wonderful. They have multiple daily specials so every visit is unique. The view out the window of a lake and rolling tree filled hills is beautiful especially in the fall. The restaurant is always busy so make reservations. Give yourself an hour or two.

I love Pine Tree Barn. I moved from Ohio 10 years ago but every time I am back in Ohio, Pine Tree Barn is #1 on my list of things to do. It’s beautiful and the food is fabulous! And you absolutely need to visit during the Christmas holidays.

Husband had a Club Sandwich combo with French Onion soup and raspberry sour cream pie. I had Spinch salad w/ hot bacon dressing combo with French Onion soup and a peach sour cream pie. Everything was very good. Service was great too.

Stopped in with family for lunch today. Outside is very beautiful as well as the inside. The problem with this establishment is that there is not a restroom on the main floor that is assessable. If you are with somebody in a walker or anyone who cannot do stairs, go to the restroom before you show up. After ordering our lunch, I had to walk my mom's partner back out to the car and drive him around back to the downstairs door where there was a handicap restroom available. On the bright side, our meal had already arrive by the time we got back to our table. Glad I ordered a cold salad. My wife started on her soup as it was hot and she did not want it to get cold waiting for us. Other than restroom availability for handicapped, our visit was pretty good. I had the jerk shrimp Cobb salad, which was delicious. My mom and her partner had the meat quiche with cashew spinach salad, and my wife their soup and half croissant sandwich. Three stars due to the assessability issues.

This is our second time enjoying The Granary at the Pine Tree Barn. Wanting to enjoy a beautiful fall day in Ohio we decided to make the drive from Columbus to Wooster. What a fantastic decision. We called in the morning and were able to get reservations at noon. Arrived a little early and walked around the barn. We were seated promptly outside at a table for 2 overlooking the pond and greeted immediately. The food was delicious. We both ordered the Jamaican jerk shrimp salad and they were large and delicious. The complementary lemon muffin and dill bread were a treat. We split them in half so that we could enjoy both. While it's a bit of a drive and there is a similar, albeit smaller, store (The Morgan House) around the corner from our house in Dublin, we plan to return. Highly recommended.

NOT DOG FRIENDLY. Not even on the patio. Did not have a chance to try the wines. Don't bother to stop by if you travel with a pet.

Took my mother-in-law and wife for a first time visit. Sorry to say the experience was less than stellar. First, I had made a reservation for seating prior to our lunch visit. When we arrived I was told our reservation was not listed. Reminds me of the Jerry Seinfeld skit of, "you know how to take the reservation, but you don't know how to keep the reservation". We were seated fairly promptly but now in the requested location with a view. The overall ambiance of the restaurant and facility is very nice. The host and waitresses were friendly. The table settings are nice and comfortable and in general everything was clean. I ordered the Reuben sandwich and salad and my guests had quiche and salad. The Reuben although tasty was a bit disappointing in structure. The bread to meat ratio was not good. More bread than meat and not worth the price. The salad was ok. My wife was pulling out old leaves and setting the aside. I was charged for bacon on my salad which I didn't order and had corrected on the bill. The quiche was noted as good but under baked. Also the value for portion was poor. A very small slice for the price. Overall, an ok visit but not what I would consider "gourmet" as advertised. Maybe gourmet for the area but certainly not in the rankings of high end restaurants. Not sure of the local hype behind this place. Maybe the ambience ranks them high or people here don't get out beyond their borders. I'm not saying it's bad food, it's ok, but for me I think there is better food in the area for better value.

Very happy with my new Bradington-Young couch. Everyone in the shop to the delivery guys were very friendly and helpful. Great place to shop for furniture.

Come for the scenery not the food. Overly salty to hide the bland food. Food was overall mediocre as well as the staff. Staff was snoody and server was lack luster. Beautiful on the outside, but I wouldn't come for the gift shop or restaurant.

I just started going once a month with my mom for lunch. The food is great. The service not so much. The staff I feel is very snooty. They portray themselves as better than you. It can make you feel very uncomfortable. May have to find another place to dine on our day out.

Timeline of a NIGHTMARE FURNITURE SHOPPING experience:October 2022 -- worked with Michele Mosley for several days selecting my perfect Century sofa and "Prudence" rocker/recliner. Aware of 6 month lead time for sofa. Really excited with choices!April 2023 -- home from snow birding, called to check status of order. Per Katie McCollum -- sofa is delayed an extra 2 months -- chair is in the warehouse. Quite a surprise!! NEVER ADVISED by my design consultant. Spoke with Julie Kilbourne re: surprise and concern. Asked re a loaner sofa. Julie to check and get back to me. NO RETURN PHONE CALL.Chair delivered . Reclining mechanism does not work.Chair returned. Still NO RESPONSE from my design consultant and no return call from Julie. Order cancelled. Refund issued. This may seem like no big deal. I am only young at heart -- and am heading for hip replacement surgery in a few weeks. Furniture shopping is no mean fete at this time!I've shopped at Pine Tree Barn for 30+ years. I won't be back.I will spread the word. So saddened at this turn of events.A few bright spots -- Thanks to Katie and to the delivery/pick up guys. You three were great. Perhaps you can pass on customer service ethics to those you work with and for.

We have watched this store grow over the last 20+ years from featuring 'country' decor and Christmas trees to flourishing with outstanding gifts, home accents, furniture, ladies' area andchildren's department. And the cafe has added a 'delicious' aspect to the shopping experience. Plus the in-house interior decorating service is wonderful! We worked with Joy Ross. The designers will come to your home and help you with selections. **Located on Rte 226 between Wooster and Shreve with a beautiful view of the valley and their tree farm.
