The staff at Orvis are more like friends to my wife and I. Always helpful, friendly, and they know their products. We always end up staying longer than we planned, enjoying conversation, and a cold beer. Lee runs an excellent establishment, and we really enjoy visiting with Leonardo, Hunter, Dale, Ty, etc., and always leave with something good in a bag, and a smile.

Recently, I brought in my 2.5-year-old Hydros reel that had developed a drag issue. The team didn’t just offer a quick fix—they completely broke down the reel, diagnosed the problem, cleaned it, and reassembled it to like-new condition. All the while, we chatted about local fishing and time on the water. It’s clear they not only know their stuff but also live and breathe this lifestyle.
This store is truly a gem. I will continue to shop here and support the Orvis brand wholeheartedly. I stand behind their products—but even more so, I stand behind their people. Knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely passionate—this is what makes Orvis exceptional.

I went to the Fly Fishing 101 with my son and two grandsons on Saturday April 13. Although it was windy the Orvis staff made the best of it. They were so patient with my grandsons. I really appreciated the time they spent. They really worked at breaking down the casting and line tying in a manner we could understand. Great group of people and would recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about fly fishing.

Friendly and helpful service from a young guy named Rob. We are super novice at flyfishing and Rob was patient and helped my wife find a pair of waders that fit just right.

Female staff member here was condescending, bothersome, and overbearing upon entering the store. Kept asking too many questions, constantly hovering to the point where we left within minutes of entering.
