Went in this past weekend and I come in regularly but this time there was a newer employee and she walked by me multiple times without greeting or asking if I needed a fitting room, made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. the other employee who was there is always very nice along with other employees I’ve interacted with just this past shopping experience felt like I wasn’t as welcome as other times.

I never really leave reviews but I had to leave a review for Ellen. I came in to get a gift for my girlfriend and Ellen was so kinda to approach me and help walk me through everything. Long story short, she picked a bunch of options for me to choose from and my girl ended up absolutely loving it. Thanks Ellen! Well done!

I love this store, but they don't always have my size or what I'm looking for. They usually have a great clearance section in the back. They will accept returns from the online shipper, if something isn't right. Eclectic designs, great window shopping, styling ideas, leather bags and belts, accessories and jeans. Bohemian and alternative fashion.

I enjoyed shopping at Free People in Eton (store #871) this weekend. Ellen was awesome. She has such a fashion sense and helped me put an outfit together. She helped me with the size and colors to choose for a top and bralette. Ellen is kind, knowledgeable and so helpful in picking out head turning outfits!

I drove about 45 min to get here! Thrilled because it’s the first time buying in person. Two girls working. Only 3 customers plus myself the entire time I was there. I was there as long as online. If you’re a FP fan you know you have to look at EVERYTHING and check prices and see what goes with what. One young lady had on a FP outfit however it wasn’t appropriate for her business wear. Every item I asked about “we don’t have it here”. I cannot say they were rude but I can say they are not greeters or personable. They are not welcoming. Training might help. Also no restroom for customers is a bit inconvenient when you know your customers are mostly not from that area and will be taking a long ride home.

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I feel like i need to. I live about 45 minutes away from this store, so I order online from here. I went in to return two online orders. This was my first time ever going into the store. I went in with my mom. We were not greeted. We approached the counter with my returns, and they claimed they could not accept one of my returns because it came without a tag. It is very hot out, so I was dressed in athletic clothes from from Lululemon, but they treated me like I was dirt. I feel like they acted like I wasn’t good enough for their store. because I wasn’t dressed to fit their aesthetic.
I tried to show that I had the online order number and receipt and then they proceeded to tell me that I could have ordered my item from Nordstrom Rack. Out of no where, they bring up Nordstrom Rack? I don’t even know what that is if I’m being honest. They were suggesting that I seemed too poor for their products, and that I was trying to swindle them or something. I worked in retail for five years throughout college and I know how tough it can be. It would have been one thing if they had any sense of customer service at all and if they were nice, but they were rude, and they really made me feel embarrassed and terrible. I contacted their customer service line and can thankfully return it by mail, but I will never be going back to this store. Shameful.
Edit- customer service accepted my return online. I went online to Nordstrom Rack and figured out what that store is. They didn’t even sell the item I was returning. I am also seeing online, that there are women online that have has similar experiences to me at FP stores. Do better :)

Very rude staff. I went in to return a pair of pants that shrunk an insane amount the first time I washed them. I talked to their customer service line earlier that day to confirm I could return in store. They would not accept my return. The two girls working there, one of whom claimed to be the store manager, were both so rude. They seemed put out that I interrupted their personal conversation to have them do their jobs. I buy from Free People all the time and even though I live only ten minutes from this store I would much rather buy online than deal with rude, entitled retail workers.

I continually do business with this store and online, I enjoy their styles and quality. They are pretty good about returns and they are genuinely helpful in the store if you show interest in items.

EXTREMELY rude staff- multiple people have had bad experiences with the staff. I've never been in a store that treats the customers so poorly. Why would you be rude to people who you are trying to sell clothing to? Stuck up staff for some reason

Long term Free People lover here. Found myself in a pinch today. I had left a newly purchased FP dress 5 hours away from my upcoming event. I called the Woodmere location to see if they had any in stock. Luckily, they did! They were willing to hold it for me as I made my way to the store. All staff working were super nice and they even lint rolled the dress to make sure it was ready for me to wear. Will definitely shop here again when I’m in the area.
