“This was my first experience with Shaker Coin and Jewelry Co. And I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. I received much more than expected for my gold piece and thoroughly enjoyed browsing a truly interesting collection of coins and other treasures. Owner James Irwin was very knowledge, personable and professional, and I'm looking forward to another visit in the future.”

“I love their online sales. Would love to shop the store in person if I'm ever in Ohio, I will definitely go check it out.I don't know where they find all the great stuff, but a lot of it is very unique. I've been antiquing for 40+ years, and I've never seen some of the things they find.If you haven't checked them out, you really need to. You will not be disappointed.”

“The house was built in 1791 and modeled after Henry Ford's home in Boston. Lots of history here and the owner was on site, with 3 friendly dogs, to describe the origins of the building and the barn. Both buildings are open and full of furniture, houseware, and china. There are also lots of books and artwork in the attic. Be careful going up, the stairs are tall and steep, and the ceiling beams are low. There is a smell (cat pee?) in the house in a couple places, so I'm glad the doors and windows were open. I found a nice glass cake plate and cotton table cloth, both for total of $15. Prices are reasonable, but ask if you see something without a price, definitely ask. Glad we stopped in.”

“This store centers around high-end antiques that would have been expensive luxury goods even at the time that these items were new. They have extensive collections of silver flatware and other Victorian gaudy furnishings and some paintings most of their items are large and expensive not much of the stores inventory would be cheaper than $50. But everything in the store is at a very high luxury quality and none of the items are very aged simply out of date.”

“This antique store is comprised of two store fronts, and the basement for each store front. The selection is electric, something for everyone. This store is more slanted towards objects (decor, hardware, books, photos, magazines, etc.) than vintage clothing. The prices are very reasonable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking is on the street or the city owned Coventry garage a block and a half south.”

“In July I purchased a beautiful, leaded glass, art-deco transom window for my new home addition. Lawrence & Sally were delightful to work with. They were very patient with us as we made multiple visits to the store owing to the fact that we couldn't make up our minds. Once we decided on the window we wanted, Lawrence & Sally were very helpful. I feel the pricing was fair and, frankly, the superb customer service was a welcome change from recent shopping experiences other places. I highly recommend shopping with Artisan Antiques and Jewelry.I was waiting to write this review because I wanted to include a picture of my purchase after it was installed in my house; however, construction is taking longer than expected and so our purchase is not yet installed. Hopefully I will soon be able to add a photo to my review.”
