NO bugs. Clean linen, water was COLD AS HELL and when it did heat up it was lukewarm at best, this is not for longterm stay, you will be comfortable if it's only a night or two or a single person, does have a microwave and fridge, very limited channels was unable to hookup firestick, does have wi-fi, bathroom is standing room only very small and hard to move around, located across from multiple restaurants and shopping center

A great little place to stay. Rooms were clean and large. Staff was friendly and check in was easy. Location is great with groceries, shopping and restaurants nearby.Walkability: Outside of downtown, but plenty of walkways into the surrounding neighborhoods

I booked a nonsmoking room and as soon as my husband and I walked into the room it clearly smelt like smoke, it was 10pm at night and we had just driven six hours to get there so we just wanted to go to bed and deal with it later. In the morning I had a migraine from the smoke smell. Later on when trying to enjoy our trip I got a phone call from the hotel saying the staff went into our room and our stuff was collected and is behind the desk and we needed to get it because we didn’t check out. They told me we were suppose to check out that morning, I gave them my name and they check my booking and we still had one night stay. They in no way apologized. When I asked why they did this they said it was our fault because we had a week prior added on a night and we were suppose to check in and out the next day and later on check in again. The staff who made the booking did in no way tell us about this policy and said we would have no issue staying in the same room both nights. When I got upset the staff member gave the phone off to the manager and she told me the same thing I tried explaining (I kept getting cut off my the manager) we were not informed about this policy and we were never called to warn us about not checking out in time and them collecting our stuff she claimed she had call me several times but I had zero missed calls or voicemails on the only phone number I gave them. She finally hung up on me when I was still trying to understand why this happened. The manager also never apologized for the mistake that was made and did not offer any solutions or accommodations for the mistake. I of course did not feel comfortable staying there one more night so we got our stuff and booked another hotel and at such sort notice and in the area we were in was three times as much and yes we never got any money back from the Skylight inn.

Want to stay at a hotel with the smell of smoke in a non smoking rooms? Want things not clean? Want extreme rude staff? Want said staff to lie several times about their policies and how they are operating a hotel? Want the staff to take all of your personal belongings in the room you booked, throw them in a trash bag and almost take it to the dumpster? Then boy you will love this hotel!Basically my wife and I, we booked this hotel for a quick trip to Cleveland and we needed to extend our stay by an additional day. After talking to the staff they informed us this would be two bookings but we wouldn’t have to check out and we could keep the same room.When we arrived we noticed the room smelled of cigarette smoke but after 6+ hours of driving and arriving late in the night and no other rooms available we decided to deal with it for the weekend.Following day, we are on our business out and about and we get a call from the hotel. Saying that they kicked us out of the room we booked. Even though we were given confirmation that we would be good to keep our stuff in the room and not needing to check in again. We explained this to the lady on the phone several times and she didn’t want to listen. She said to get your stuff from the front desk. We asked why didn’t they call before and they said they did several times and we never once got a call prior. After several minutes of trying to resolve the situation they hung up on us.We stopped what we were doing and managed to get our stuff from their trash bags, before someone was going to throw these out. I heard a comment from someone in the back making a joke about it and the staff members who went to get it laughed. Most unprofessional staff with worst hotel my family has ever stayed at. Would not recommend.

Very clean, comfortable, and convenient. Just 30 minutes from Cleveland Hopkins! Great location and great company. I am sure we will be back in Ohio to visit Skylight again!❤️

So it was me and my wife anniversary you know without the kids..which we barely get that due to we make sure we raise our kids right, and we had decided that through somebody else that we knew, we was going to book a room for here first time and had to travel 28 minutes. When I first booked this room, the room that they had on their website is different from the rooms that you see in real life. If I had to explain this hotel genuinely, it's a looks can be deceiving, especially if you're looking at the web site photos, they have nothing compared or similar, so don't be thinking that room is gonna look like the photos that is on this website. Cause it's not... I did smell, however, cigarette smell in the hallway. For it to be a non smoking hotel that was mind blowing. You do, however, have to have a hotel key card to access to the second level, so that is a good thing, and they do have lots of cameras there. So that's also a great thing. I would not recommend to eat in the areas of around the hotel due to the fact that it will be a long wait time because it's nothing but hotels in that area at least go 10 minutes out. The fact that I paid more than 203 dollars for one night. And the room looked like an average hotel room that you get for 40 dollars a night it was crazy. I had booked so that the hot tub will be in the same room as the bedroom I had to go into a whole nother room just to get to the hot tub. They never said that the walls will be green. It's not a problem, but from the photos the wall was white.Not one wall in that room of it was white except the bathroom walls... When I booked I booked it from a photo that was in a white room..This is another looks could be deceiving. The hotel our room with clean, but we you took a shower in the bathtub. I felt like the bathtub was about to collapse. Regardless me and my partner is humble, so we enjoyed our stay, even though the pictures was not exactly or even similar to how the hotel room was when I got there. I never had rude customer service, but I could say that they wasn't professional, especially being that y'all are practically the only hotel room with hot tubs . Also with the vending machines is cheaper in the kitchen, and if you are, or anybody else is looking for the ice machine it's in the kitchen. But in all, true reality to sum up everything, the only issue that I have was the fact that what I saw on the website to what I saw in real life, it just didn't add up and it didn't match up and it didn't look the same, nor did he look similar to what I actually booked. I would recommend, but then I wouldn't recommend for people who's trying to do something special for their loved one. Cause this is not it if I had a decent room with how it was described in the photo, then I would totally recommend this, but me and my wife came here for a special reason, just to get disappointed by the outcome of the room, not matching the photo. If this is not how your rooms look, why would you have it on the site. But me and my partner still made it the best. This is our 14 year anniversary and we just wanted to enjoy our night in a beautiful room. Cause we never do for ourselves cause we been parents. We just made the best at what we had.. Humble.. Will not be returning but stay blessed.

Would not recommend, ever. Just like most other reviews say, smelled of smoke overwhelmingly and not clean at all. Rooms are dirty and falling apart. It was so bad we paid more money for a different hotel and didn’t even bother dealing with staff. This one’s on me for not reading the reviews but will definitely be recommending this as a place where NOT to stay for future reference.
