Had appt for root touch up and to have some of the blonde darkened at the ends only on the right side from prior 5 weeks earlier. When I arrived, I asked for 1" off the ends. No cut, no highlights. She asked if i wanted bangs cut. I said no. Alex said she would just clean up the bangs a bit. Bangs where to my mouth when i came in. I repeated "No color, No highlights, No hair cut." Alex put some gloss mixture of 3-4 different colors on my whole head. I thought it was just for the blonde bit on my ends. It should have been on just that one section of blonde at the ends. I said I wanted a more chopping bottom. Not so straight, and blunt, like she had cut it 5 weeks earlier. She ended up chopping ALL my hair! Not just making the ends edgy. And she cut my bangs to mid-upper nose length. I was to have copper highlights. Which I did semi have already. So with her mixing ALL those colors together and putting on my head, I have NO definition. Just one blob of Brownish color. Alex tells me after some washes it will look better and get a bit lighter. What? I'm suppose to come out with an auburn/copper highlights with my dark hair in-between. Not wait 5 weeks to see results. Never have I had to do that before. I wrote her two days later, said how upset I was. My hairs in a shambles. I was literally in tears. I sent a picture. Granted, I did brush it down to show her how horrible it is. How she chopped it all up after I said NO hair cut! Alex made a comment and said if I plan to wear it pin straight then maybe it's not the cut for me. No, that was not my plan. I was showing her the horrible cut that my grandson could have done better, and the blan blaugh color mess she created. Her solution....
Come in and she can try to correct it for a fee. But she can meet me somewhere in the middle for the charge. I only wish I paid with credit or debit. I would have put a stop on that real quick. I thought it was strange that she was messing with it so much. Curling it, mouse, curling, straightening. Then did an up flip at my ends. My hair is only about 1" above my shoulders. Why flip it up?.I'm in my early 50s not 90s.
She made a mess, realized it, and tried everything to cover it up. I could not see final result until tje next day when I took it out of a clip and seen the actual damage. My hair was past middle of my back. Then I got it cut to 3" past shoulders. Now she butchered 3-4"" shorter.
I asked her "what if i had an important function to attend?" "You expect me to wait 5 werks to see what kind of results i get?" Im by far nit new to highlights or colors or cuts. It's not as if I'm new to all this. I've been doing colors and highlights for years. Never had this type of outcome or response. It looks like a pixie cut from 1972. Stay away!!!!!
Requested style: Trim! Have blonde ends a bit darker.That is it!
Hair type: Medium thickness hair. Dark with champagne and auburn/copper highlights. Was very long. Had cut to just below shoulders. Then Alex cut 3"+ off when I asked for 1". No more dimenentional highlights. Alex put a mixture of 3-4 colors all over my hair. One blib of a color mess.
Stylist: Alex if rated 1-10.
I would give a double digit negative!

Absolutely terrible my hair is butchered. She just did her own thing and ignored everything I sent her. She took a blade to my face without asking to get rid of some “ peach fuzz” now my face has stubble on it. She also made some pretty insensitive comments while I was in her chair. My bangs are super uneven. I told her to make it face framing and long, and she just destroyed my bangs. she added black highlights, and I had no idea that she did that . she also said she would’ve aborted a baby if she knew had autism. I think that’s a huge red flag, and as an autistic person that infuriates me.
When I told her that I didn’t like my hair and I would like a refund that my hair was ruined she didn’t really care and kind of pushed me off to the side. She sent photo that she went off by, but I didn’t approve of it. It didn’t even look like the reference photo that she was going by anyways . Anytime I would make a suggestion she would like lose her smile, and like frown and get frustrated. Highly unprofessional Service the cosmetology board has been contacted

Alex is great! I appreciate her getting me in when I come into town and she alway does a great job on my curly hair. Great all over color and cut. My haircut lasted me six months the first time she did my hair. She recently did my hair again and it feels light and airy and manageable. I love it! Don't hesitate to go see her cuz she knows hair ..

I booked an appointment online with Salon Soleil by recommendation from my friend. I booked my appointment with Haley who did an amazing job on my hair!! It looks better then I pictured, she cut and colored my hair and I'm so in love! I will definitely be coming back!

Clean, friendly staff, well organized, and the location is perfect from my house. My hair turned out better than I had hoped, since this was a recolor from another salon. Every client I saw while I was there (4 hours), left looking good and happy. Some talented women work here.

I seriously love this salon! I refuse to go to any other salon. I have been going to Alex for years, and it’s been by far the best hair experience! The girls are always extremely friendly. The salon itself is always extremely clean and tidy. Along with the staff being extremely friendly, the prices are fair and reasonable!

They are so nice and absolutely love Abby. She does amazing work with fashion colors. The owner is very involved with all the girls and gives advise when the girls aren't 100% sure how to go about the process they need to take. The salon is so cute I just love it there.
