All I can say is if you thought them having 4 basketball courts in the field house would mean you could play basketball here, you are mistaken. They are always taken up by minimal people playing pickle ball and they shove all the basketball players onto one court IF YOU'RE LUCKY. I simply do not understand what it is about this place but they HATE basketball players and do everything they can to not let you play basketball. It feels like it's their last option. If the fieldhouse isn't being used by any of the other 50 things they offer that no one uses, sure, you can play basketball. They also close the field house for, get this, SWIM MEETS. DO NOT COME HERE TO PLAY BASKETBALL. The actualy gym part of this place is alright, but its mostly cardio. They have all of 2 benches and 2 squat racks for the entire place so, don't even think about coming when its busy if you plan to use either of those.

Sick of pickleball players completely taking over the basketball courts. Theres no management that actually tries to accommodate other 99% of people trying to use the courts for basketball and allows the tiny amount of people to play that garbage.

Big facility. Pools are nice when you are able to use them. Field house is huge and fun to shoot hoops - when the rare times they are open. Workout room has lots of machines and stuff, but I believe it's poorly designed because the free weight area is so small and always crowded. My issues are that they need to get better schedules for open/free times in the pool and field house. I know its hard because they are attached to the high school and the high school uses both the pools and field house for their practices. Also with senior center their too, it's next to impossible to get an open hoop to shoot baskets or enjoy the pools. Also going there in the evening is impossible because it's always packed with teenagers running around that just got out of school. Not trying to be a Karen, but its just that when you're paying $45 a month, you should be able to enjoy all the facilities when you want. The good thing is with a Y membership you can visit any Y in the state, so I'm not canceling my membership, but I will visit other locations in Mt area besides this one. Like I said, even though this place is shared by both the school and the senior center, they just need to get the scheduling down.

Poor managment, scheduling, and time management. There are a total of four basketball courts and around 40-50 people wanting to play basketball. The problem is there are very limited hours available for basketball. Instead there are two gyms closed off not being used for hours, and pickle ball or ping pong taking up the other two courts with 4-10 people playing. I find it hard to beleive that these 10 people should have priority over the 50 people wanting to play basketball, when it can be done in other places. The staff is so out of touch that if you run into any problem with memberships, day passes, or the 24-hour key-fob you will likely have to wait long periods of time if you even get lucky enough to find a solution. Not only are the staff and management incompitant, but they dispise anyone under the age of 21, and have shown periodic signs of racism/discrimination.The free weight portion of the gym is too small, the pools are never open just like the basketball courts, the sauna/steam room has been broken for 2+ years, the studio room and feildhouse no longer have accurate schedules, etc.

None of the pools are useable by adult members who want to swim - they are always tied up by kids’ lessons, swim teams, and elderly aquatics during peak swim hours. Staff are wasteful of pool space, needlessly reserving entire lanes and sections of the pool.

They let teenagers run wild. They sit and talk on equipment and act like fools in the locker room.

The Y on the whole is a nice place -- clean, friendly people, nice equipment. The classes, however, are terrible. First, there is no variety. Evenings I can spin, or I can do weights. That's it. Secondly, there is only one spin instructor that was trained to teach spin. The other instructors don't even know how to help a member sit correctly on the bike. I joined the Y to do classes, and if the instructors and class choices don't improve, I will be dropping my membership.

Two days in a row Scofflaws sit in running cars; they BLOCK the Crosswalk! Here’s a lady going behind his car. Where’s the enforcement in fire lane? A wheelchair lady- waiting. Illegal Parking!

So the place itself is clean. The childcare center is horrible. As I am checking in my child, the lady is sniffling into her hand so I hand her a Purel and she refuses. I comment I see you have a cold, she shrugged it off, and I hit her the Pural again as she refuses it, saying she used a tissue anc walked away. No washing nothing. Why isn’t this person wearing a mask? She acknowledged she sick.Saturday the child care staff was even worse, three young girls teenagers who barely watched the kids. They stood around bored as twenty kids chaotically ran around. Did not feel like my one year-old was supervised. Also there are no mornings whatsoever when the kids can play in the pool. Out of 7 days!!!! Everything is afternoon. I have kids that take naps and I work. This place is in kid friendly if you have a little ones… hard pass.

Weight gym in nice, but it is very hard to find a court to play basketball even though there are 4 courts because they are always using multiple courts for events, or using courts for games that could be played in a room or the same court like ping pong or pickleball. Frustrating when 25 people are there to play basketball who have even made sure to come at the odd hours the courts are actually open, and 4 people are playing ping pong and taking up an entire court.

The worst customer service. People on the phone are rude and don’t help. I was told by someone they didn’t want me to help me so call back in ten minutes to talk to someone else. can never get my kid into class because they are always full the first day registration opens.
