This place is the best. It seems like the other chains always find the most expensive possible solution, but this place has saved me thousands and with super fast turn around.

The shop is honest and knowledgeable! If I'm not doing my own repair, they are the first I'll call.

The crew at Whitehouse Motors always takes care of things for me. Takes away the concern of over pricing, doesn't push me into more like most other places do. They seem to go the extra mile on even the little jobs, and the crew is just... comfortable. Reasonable, honest and fast. Thank you!

We were incredibly impressed with our service and pricing. The staff here is knowledgeable and went above and beyond to get our vehicle repaired. There’s definitely a reason they have been in business for over 100 years!

If I could assign no stars, I would. On the recommendation of a local auto parts supplier, I delivered a collector car to Whitehouse Motors, Inc. for diagnosis and repair on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Later that day I received a call telling me what the suspected problems were. I authorized any repairs. Having heard no more by Monday, June 6th, I stopped by for an update. I was told the front U-joint was binding and the drive shaft was possibly bent and/or out of balance and should go to a transmission shop for evaluation, which I authorized. Whitehouse Motors was to deliver the driveshaft for repair. Having heard nothing more by Thursday, June 16th, I called to get an update. I was told by the owner that they “…just hadn’t had time” to deliver the driveshaft for repair. This was twelve workdays after turning in the car and eight workdays after authorizing the driveshaft work. Ultimately, I had to pick up the driveshaft, deliver it to, and retrieve it from the transmission shop myself. The transmission shop completed their work in four days. The car was at Whitehouse Motors, Inc. for a total of eighteen workdays, i.e., three and a half work weeks. In that time, they accomplished the following: four tires balanced, a U-joint replaced, uninstall and reinstall the driveshaft, and, on the morning of the eighteenth and last day they had the car, a timing and idle adjustment, none of which solved any of the issues I had originally turned the car in for. Despite repeated requests to keep me informed, I had to call or visit the shop to gain any information. It appears that I received no updates because there was no work being done at all for most of the time they had the car. The owner was friendly and courteous as long as I was willing to go along and not press for action. But when I made my dissatisfaction known, courtesy was replaced by defensiveness, excuses, and rationalizations. The owner angrily canceled the bill he had presented me, which I offered to pay anyway. He again refused the payment. How many shops would do that if they were not aware of their own blatant failure to perform? This business claims to specialize in classic cars, but your classic car will sit idle while they cycle in oil changes, lube jobs, and tire rotations for the local clientele. Because they overbooked their routine work the shop didn’t have the time or capacity to work on my car, or even deliver the driveshaft for outsourced repair, and didn’t have the professionalism to own up to it. I would not recommend this shop for any work, especially on a collector car.Service: General repairs & maintenance

On the recommendation of the manager of a local auto parts retailer, I delivered a collector car to Whitehouse Motors, Inc. for diagnosis and repair on Wednesday, June 1st. Within an hour I received a call telling me that wheel balance, and out-of-round tires was the potential problem. I authorized any repairs. Having heard no more by Monday, June 6th, I stopped by for an update. I was told that the front U-joint was binding and that the drive shaft was possibly bent and/or out of balance and should go to a transmission shop for evaluation, which I authorized. Whitehouse Motors, Inc. was to outsource the work and deliver the driveshaft for repair. Having heard nothing more by Thursday, June 16th, I called to get an update. I was told by the owner that they just hadn't had time to deliver the driveshaft for repair. This was twelve workdays after first turning in the car and eight workdays after authorizing the driveshaft work. In order to get things moving, I had to pick up the driveshaft, deliver it to, and retrieve it from the transmission shop myself. The transmission shop completed their work in four days. The car was at Whitehouse Motors, Inc. for a total of eighteen workdays, i.e., three and a half work weeks. In the fourteen workdays Whitehouse Motors, Inc. had the car with the driveshaft installed or available, they accomplished the following: four tires balanced, a U-joint replaced, uninstall and reinstall the driveshaft, and -- on the morning of the eighteenth and last day they had the car -- a timing and idle adjustment, none of which solved any of the issues I had originally turned the car in for. Despite my repeated requests to keep me informed, I received only two phone calls: the original diagnosis on the first day, and a call to come and pick up the car on the last day. Otherwise, I had to call or visit the shop to gain any information. It now appears that I received no updates because either 1) the owner/manager has no concept of customer service or 2) there was no work being done at all for most of the time they had the car. Hence, nothing to report. I have used several repair shops in the local area and been pleased with honesty, courtesy, and timely service. This shop provided courtesy at first, and as long as I was willing to go along. But at the point when I made my dissatisfaction known to the owner courtesy went quickly out the window and was replaced by excuses and rationalizations. The owner angrily excused the bill he had presented me, which I offered to pay anyway. He again refused the payment. How many shops would do that if they were not cognizant of a blatant failure to perform, admitted or not? This business claims to specialize in classic cars. But in my experience, your classic car will sit idle while they cycle in oil changes, lube jobs, and tire rotations for the local clientele. My observation is that because they overbooked their routine work the shop did not have the time or capacity to work on my car, or even deliver the driveshaft for outsourced repair, and didn't have the professionalism to own up to it. I would not recommend this shop for any specialized work on a classic or collector car.

Awesome work for a great price. Will go back again definitely. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO MIDAS! Whitehouse Motors knows what they are doing. They are family owned and have been around for over 80 years
