If I can put a zero star rating I would. This shop is the location for catstrap.net they sell products to protect your catalytic converter. They have a money back guarantee that is posted on their website. I didn't want the product because it failed to work. I returned it letting the Tom know why and he said ok in the email. Once he got the part back he said no money back. So, not only did their product not work, but he stole a few 100 dollars from me.

Tom gave us one of the best experiences with auto care that we've had. He was open and honest, willing to go over the car with us and show where the problem was, broke down the expenses in detail for us. He got us in as soon as we got there and got it back to us quickly. We will definitely be going back to Varsity, and highly recommend them and the work they do.

If you want your car damaged, be sure to take it to the pathetic example of a repair shop. I took my daughters car in for a simple oil change and this bozo couldn't even handle that. He broke apart the filler cap and damaged other parts to the engine and never told her. When she brought it home she said it was barely running and asked me to look at it. I could not believe what these idiots did to her car for just an oil change. I contacted the owner and all he could do was swear at me and refuse to pay damages even though he admitted to possibly doing the damage and allowing her to drive out that way! How would you feel if this was you daughter. She depends on her car to commute to BGSU and could have been stranded somewhere while this guy didn't give a hoot. He even had the nerve to send me a letter full of swear words to my home. I faxed this letter to the BBB, and chamber of commerce. All stated they have had multiple reports on vehicle damage and abuse from the owner. The CofC has banned him and the BBB has listed my negative experience. Since then I have heard nothing but terrible costly damage to personal vehicles to some fleet trucks. Stay away from this repair service please! You will be sorry. Follow-up - If you need a copy of the letter this l**** sent me contact me and I will send it to you. I sent it to the local CofC President and he was appalled. I posted it all over Whitehouse. Here's your clue on the inability for l**** motors to do service. Just check out the age of cars in their lot. Nothing newer than 10 years old. $5 oil cap? Please tell me where I could have purchased a $5 oil cap. Idiot. That's the point. This l**** admitted to shattering it and couldn't make it right. Just how do you shatter an oil cap? How do you leave off vacuum lines? How do you allow a car to leave your shop barely running when it ran fine before just an oil change? How? Because it's a scam to nail you for more repairs. It's a scam against women also, such as my daughter. Most of the positive posts are from his family members. Check the facts from the CofC and BBB. Varsity Motors should be appropriately renamed HOT AIR BS MOTORS. Hey Tom, how about completing the tree screens and landscaping that you promised to Village Council per their minutes to get your permit to operate here? You even lied to the village. Using the same word he did on me in his letter, he is a dullard.

I have a VW and have had to take my car in at least 5 times, every time I have had nothing but great, honest and friendly service. Always great prices; I won't take my car anywhere else. I recommend Varsity Auto to my family and friends if they ever have car trouble. I can't say a single bad thing about them, I've never had bad service or was treated poorly. Everyone who has gone from my recommendation has said the exact same thing, very trust worthy and friendly service. Next time you need your car looked at I would say go to Varsity Motors!

We were on a trip and our car broke down near Whitehouse, OH. It was late and every other auto place we called was closed. Tom, at Varsity Motors, took our call and repaired our car at 10:30p! He was so kind and gracious -- and competent! I could not recommend Tom and Varsity Auto more highly. Check them out! :)

I've enjoyed dealing with Tom. He is extremely nice and honest. He will tell you if you need something or don't need something. He will not try to sell you something you don't need to try to make an extra buck. I've referred many people to him and he has not failed to deliver. This is a shop that you can tell your MOM to taker her car too and know that she won't get ripped off or lied too.

Never been disappointed by coming to varsity motor. Ive had multiple cars looked at. And many repairs done. Always top quality work done and done in a timely manner. He's professional, knows what he's talking about and always reasonable. If your car has any problems, he is always able to diagnose it. From electrical to mechanical. Will definitely be coming back for anything that needs done or looked at, period.

I don't usually write reviews but after reading the scathing review by someone else I had to. This gentleman is kind and accommodating. He has gone above and beyond for me on many occasions. He is professional, knowledgeable and reasonable on price. My car is actually there right now, the key is stuck in the ignition. He fit me in so I can still make the trip I took the day off of work to take. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place of business, they are awesome.
