Kroger is a good place to shop and if you use their coupons you can save money. I shop here alot since I live close. People that work there have gotten to know me on a regular basis.

The parking lot is a disaster! Check out is a problem. It’s not the employees it’s the lack of them. I enjoy Krogers but at my age I run out of energy quickly.

Shopped there for years, but past two months the Service
Dept. Is closed. Cashiers say there is not enough staff. They never know when it will be open.
I pay 3 utility bills there, and it is very inconvenient and disappointing when they are closed. Yes, I guess I 'm old
fashioned and still use checks most of time. Please hire more
People or instruct them to post

I went to the pharmacy for a vaccine. They where very professional. Very little wait time too. Afterward I got a few groceries. They had what I needed & actually had cashiers on duty. Both the pharmacy & cashiers where very nice.

It's about the only place in this small area to grocery shop, they never have hardly any open cashier they want you to self check, also some of the employees are very rude and would not help me look for an item said to ask someone else not their department! I do however like some of their prices and sales that's why I did not give a all the way bad review plus with coupons can help also save money. They have plenty of parking, wheelchair access also

This Kroger is constantly out of stuff and it’s always an extended amount of time before they get it back in stock. Probably the worst Kroger I’ve ever been to. I’ve started driving to other locations to shop.

Years ago there used to be some kinda motion-activated things in the dairy section that made clucking & mooing sounds that freaked me tf out when I'd be in there late at night stoned outta my mind. Nobody seems to remember this and that bugs me.
5 ⭐ if they put those back and only switch em on at night to mess with the folks on covert munchies runs 😂
Pros
Parking. Always a good spot open. Easy access and escape. Same for the Fuel Center there, which *bonus* includes a Rumpke site where you can drop off your recycling. Or at least clean out the monster cans & plastic bottles in your truck bc you forgot the recycling again you pos.
Pharmacy Drive-Thru.
For the Poor/Cheap/Green folk: Marked-down Deli items (on your right in Deli/Bakery). More than just hummus & soups like Portsmouth store. Salads, chicken wings, sandwiches etc.
Seems like the deli & meat dept are staffed adequately, unlike the Portsmouth store. I haven't experienced long lines at the deli counter, and there's always someone behind the meat counter or easy to find nearby stocking.
Cons
The aisles are narrow & checkout area is cramped esp when busy.

Friendly and helpful staff. Awesome quality of food, it's pricey but it's worth the money because you truly get what you pay for! Have a good selection of things for people with food allergies!

Great store that’s always neat and clean! Great prices and in-store price discounts! I love to look for their discounts on meat – you can save a ton of money!
