A huge thank you to Ryan! I am so impressed with this guy!!!!! Went into orvis, just to ask questions on fly fishing, this guy took my husband and I outside and literally gave us a lesson on casting! I was so overwhelmed with his knowledge, attitude and patience , not to mention he showed us the correct way to cast! Your amazing Ryan!

Orvis is one of my favorite places to go to purchase gifts for my fisherman friends! As a non-fishing person, their team is super knowledgeable and helpful when purchasing gifts! I would recommend for anyone to stop in and learn in addition to shop!

This review is long overdue...John the manager of the store is an absolute class act. I purchased flys (6-7 months ago) and discovered I was overcharged (3x) on them. I didn' t have the receipt but they found me in the system. Told me they would refund me or to come down and said they would take care of me. They certainly gave me a full customer service experience and made sure I was made whole and then some. No hassle. I like supporting this store because I see John at a lot of fundraising and awareness events. I'm still not a 100% Orvis gear guy (I'm too nerdy and picky with my fly equipment) but would consider switching simply because of the culture they and good-vibe environment they have at the shop. Kudos!!!

I love taking our dog in to get toys here! Most have been very good quality and last! We shop here about every 2 months.The past two times we went in we’ve had issues.The first time, the lady pushed us for a email / phone number multiple times. Most recently, a different lady was pushy, “helping” us shop for a dog toy, handing me toys, etc.We won’t shop at a lot of the clothing stores here because of the pushiness but I REALLY don’t need help choosing a dog toy unless I ask.

Outstanding Fly Fishing introductory course - the instructors/guides (Alex and Mark) were professional, knowledgeable and above all, extremely passionate about the subject. Their positivity and energy made the info even more engaging. The store and training equipment further enhanced the experience. They "hooked" us - we signed up for the follow-on course, entitled, Fly Fishing 201.

Superb customer service, I told the associate (think his name was Alexander) that I was new to fly fishing and wanted to catch steelhead. He set me up with all the right flies without trying to sell me anything I didn’t need. He even printed out some sheets for fly fishing tactics. Will definitely come back.
