It's a fun enough course, and you can see the potential with the layout as it offers lots of strategy off the tee. But, the course could afford to remove/trim about half the trees on the property. The trees overtake a lot of the holes and hide the holes' features. For example, the par 5 6th is a nice looking par 5, but you can't even see where the fairway begins from the tee box as it's all blocked out by trees. Lots of potential but ultimately frustrating to play as it's overgrown.

Would like to see a better maintenance budget, because the track is fun. Easy course, great beginners course.

My tee time was at 10:57 it’s 11:01 and there’s still 12 people on the box. Horribly run place. Also refused to let us go off the back.

Great place to golf. All of the staff from paying, starters, and the two guys behind the bar.Hot dogs were also good. So everything gets five stars. Also was told that the being sold for development is a rumor. Hopefully it's true.

Driving range is almost NEVER open, despite selling tokens for balls in advance.Course is fine and folks are usually nice.

Chauvinistic group. The starter was ridiculous. The course is in poor condition..

This used to be a good track and I was sad to see it slipping downhill. The e trance to the parking lot is horrible. The parking lot it not good. The clubhouse is tired and needs an update. The course condition is getting bad. The range is eh. I like the layout. It's tight and not a grip it and rip it course. Water in great spots and bunkers strategically placed. The fairways are not great. Basically it's just grass cut shorter and the soil is a bit rough and not right like a fairway should be. Same with the greens. They don't roll very well. The service is ok. On Sunday morning the woman working the counter was just unfriendly. The starter was decent and the guy working the bar was ok too. Just feels unfriendly. Not sure I'll be back unless they make an upgrade.

I love the layout of this course and the friendly people that run it. I wish it was kept in more pristine condition but still a fun course.

Mom & Pop operation and no reinvestment since I was last here back in 1991. They will probably sell out to homebuilders in the near future. The staff does not make you feel like the course is a $50 a round course. Go to Legacy and you'll have a better experience. The rough was not cut, the greens was fuzzy and the fairways are high as well. It's amazing my son still shot a 75.

No fall rates..which is disappointing because course conditions were not up to par.

Fun course, a little more interesting than other courses in the area. Sand traps border most greens on the front nine which is all I played. Fairly short par 4s.

Overall: Okay course that’s over-priced but still fun.Course is not exactly hard but not easy either (unless you’re a scratch golfer). 18 holes in total with a large practice putting green (no holes but flags for targets). There’s also a driving range.A little pricy for the conditions. Fairways are generally nice. But some tee boxes are really firm and hard to put a tee into. Also some patches of grass are bad.Good clubhouse food and service. Starters are nice as well. Good for golfers who are beginners to bogey players. Scratch golfers probably will not enjoy (too short/not as nice/easier greens).

Let me tell you something about Hilliard Lakes; the starter allowed us to go out with a sixsome, but we were then told we had to split up. I did not mind splitting up. I totally understood the reasoning, but it was the fact that the staff believed that we were lying to them that the starter allows us out with a sixsome. What do my esteem colleagues, and I have to gain from us lying to this mom and pop shop golf course. Nothing. Their spirits and joy seemed drained. I get it; the case of the Mondays but it was holiday! put some pep in your step. The course was well kept, but the roughs needed some tending too. The glizzy(hot dogs) special is something that will bring me back. $1 for a hot dog and soda, but with no substitutions. I do not like glizzies, nor did I want the special, and the cashier simply added to my bill without me asking. All in all they just need better communication amongst staff, and integrity check as well.
