Our entire experience with Hazelwood Floors was excellent. From scheduling to customer service and final result, it was top notch. Erin, Craig, Chris, Derek and Zack did a great job on our century home floors. The sanding and refinishing of our 125 year old oak and pine floors turned out super! It was an easy process with great communication, color sample process, and online payment available. Thank you!

Hazelwood came in and did what every other installer said was impossible! Long story short, my concrete subfloor was so out of level that I thought it was not possible to have the hardwood floors I’d planned for my renovation. Their team came in, assessed the situation and told me what I wanted could be done, and they DID IT!! I would, without hesitation recommend them as they are the absolute best I’ve come across!

Hazelwood’s team , from Craig who does the incredibly detailed estimate, to Erin who communicates often and in such a friendly way to the installers who take the time to make sure every detail is considered make this recommendation a pleasure to write. I missed scheduling when I should have and they kept me informed as to possible openings and when an opportunity happened to occur they made it happen. Don’t even bother looking elsewhere use Hazelwood!!

Stop your search, you found your flooring people! Highly knowledgeable and committed to completing the job with integrity, these are the best folks I have worked with on this home. Let me explain.
This is an older home, built in 1918. It did not have a subfloor beneath the 100+ year old hardwood and the floor was bouncing and cracking in the kitchen, the most high traffic area of the house. When Kevin came to do the estimate, he was professional and knowledgeable. He flagged an issue no one had seen before, a plumber had cut through one of the support beams to run a pipe. Despite learning this news, it was still an enjoyable experience, we felt like we were chatting with a friend in the kitchen.
Erin was awesome in helping us plan the project, allowing me to talk through timelines and design ideas over the phone with her. She was patient, kind, and flexible. When I decided to put in a window AC unit at the last minute to have the wood acclimate at a certain temp/humidity, she referred me to an electrician who had availability.
Now for the superstars, Kyle and Zack. Kyle is truly an expert. He is so knowledgeable and skilled, we were incredibly lucky to have him on the job. Zack had just come from installing a school gym and while the size differential was staggering, there were new challenges. There was a lot of technical skill involved in this project, under all of the beauty. Every joist needed to be shimmed and the cabinets and door frames supported. As an old home owner, I have been conditioned to expect the worst when you open something up. If there were problems, Kyle handled them with his experience and skill set, not passing the stress along to me. I was buzzing around, doing projects of my own. Kyle and Zack were nothing but supportive, offering encouragement and advice. Neither of them ever talked down to me or dismissed any of my concerns. They did not take shortcuts and completed the entire job with integrity. They worked efficiently and had very little waste, despite the infinite number of cuts required to install the herringbone. I had full confidence in them the entire time.
The gorgeous floors are one thing, the photos speak for themselves. They are exactly what I wanted and imagined. But the photos don’t show the level of consideration, respect, and integrity of Hazelwood. It is important for me to note that as a woman, I have not always been treated with this level of respect by other folks who have done work on my home. My concerns were heard, I was treated as an equal and never talked down to. When I walked around with my tools, I was empowered and encouraged by Kyle and Zack. It was a great experience and I would recommend Hazelwood without question to anyone who needs floors. Thank you all so much!

We had the white oak hardwood floors in our entire 100 yr. old home refinished by Hazelwood. The experience from start to finish was exceptional. The owner, Craig was very prompt and took lots of time in the assessment and estimate of our floors. The highly experienced crew, Chris, Zack and Josh were extremely respectful and professional. Chris kept us informed with the progress so there were no surprises. I highly recommend Hazelwood as an honest and trustworthy floor refinisher.

Completely impressed and pleased with the estimating, process, and installation of our new hardwood floors. We are extremely pleased with every part of Hazelwood. Installers Kyle and Nick provided excellent communication regarding timing, options, and expectations.
Kyle was able to provide insight and expert opinions that helped determine the best options for different situations. Both were polite, mindful, and clean which was not always the case with some of our other contractors. They were generally concerned with the best installation and how it fit into our plans.
The hardwood flooring was key piece to our addition to a 1940 house with hardwood throughout. We could not be any happier with the result.

From beginning to end my experience with Hazelwood Floors has been wonderful! We had a unique exotic wood floor in our home and it was a bit of a challenge finding the right company. Hazelwood was confident they could help. The weave repairs great and they worked with our timeline for a renovation.
Erin was available with all the questions I had along the way as this was a first time we refinished floors I had many!
Tibor and everyone that working in my home were professional, neat and I was surprised by the lack of dust. We are very satisfied with our floors and would recommend them to anyone looking to have their floors finished.

We have existing exotic hardwood flooring that we wanted to continue into our dinning. We were told that our floors would be hard to match and hard to match. But, Craig and his team at Hazelwood Floors managed to make this happen of us. Their professionalism and customer care was great. We highly them recommend if you are looking for new quality flooring.

Tibor did an AMAZING job on bringing our hardwood floors back to life. He communicated effectively throughout the process, was meticulous in making sure everything was done to the highest standards, and all around a super nice person to work with. We had multiple patches that needed to be made, and you can’t even tell. Couldn’t be happier, would highly recommend.

We hired Hazelwood to refinish the floors of our newly purchased home. Craig and his entire team did an amazing job from start to finish! Aside from their top-quality work, they were incredibly helpful in guiding us throughout the process, including picking the appropriate stain/finish to help tie all of the flooring together.
