Because Dale Kiefer at AutoNation Westlake refuses to produce a letter on AutoNation letterhead confirming to CarFax the vehicle they repaired of mine did not have structural damage, I cannot trade the vehicle in to any dealership nor sell it on the private market without loosing thousands of dollars, until they clear the record. I've exchanged emails and phones with them for well over a year to clear the record. Any reputable business repairing a vehicle on an insurance claim should be more than willing to set the record straight. If you need your vehicle repaired, even on an insurance claim and they steer you to AutoNation, I would definitely go elsewhere, and plan to tell everyone I know exactly that. Their unprofessional business practices make it impossible for me to sell a vehicle they repaired.

If you could give zero stars that's what they deserve. The 'manager" that answers the phone is the rudest customer service interaction I have ever had. She hung up on me. Repair over a week late getting back. Who knows what condition it will be in. Avoid this collision shop at all costs. They say they are not affiliated with the dealership at all and it's a good thing because who would buy a car there knowing this is the service you get? I asked the dealership to help and they told me that they have had many complaints about her but since she doesn't work for the dealership that they can't do anything. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

My daughter took her car in to fix up some minor damage - about $2,000 of work. For that small amount of work, Autonation kept the car for eight work days. They kept saying the car would be ready "tomorrow," then day after day there was one excuse after another for why it wasn't done. Never again.

My bumper got hit and damaged. I needed an estimate for the insurance. Paul was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Highly recommended!

Alright, I'm just going to lay it all out there. My mom smashed up my beautiful new car while I was in another state a week and a half before Christmas. On perfectly clear roads she hit the only other person driving at 4:30 in the morning. Just merged right into them even though I have those fancy mirror/sound alerts when a car gets too close... For this story I'm also going to have to tell you that insurance follows the vehicle not the person so I was financially responsible even though I was not the person driving. Soooo I had my car towed to the closest repair shop and decided to drink a lot on the beach before I came back to Ohio to deal with this hot mess. My dad picked me up at the airport (mom was hiding at home) and we went straight to Autonation Collision Center where I burst into tears trying to talk about my car repair. Luckily I was in the hands of manager Paul who is super personable, helpful, and patient. He understood my frustrations and worry and totally made me feel reassured that everything would be okay. He even walked me over to Enterprise next door so I could get a rental. Side note: If you do not have rental coverage on your insurance policy you need to stop reading this and immediately call and add it. I was given a discount but still had to pay $20 something a day for my rental since I did not have coverage. It adds up fast! Back to Autonation, I was told I should probably get my car back sometime after the new year (holidays slow down part delivery and workers need a break too). UGH! But it was what it was so I shook hands and left in my rental. The next morning Paul emailed me with pictures of my car and an assessment for the repairs, work started right away and he handled everything with my insurance company! I continued to communicate with Paul through email and he was always prompt and friendly keeping me updated on everything. (I prefer email, but I am sure he would have no problem with telephone calls). Luckily for me they managed to fix my car early and I received it after ten days, right before the year ended. This made me very happy because it saved me money by returning the rental car early. When I went to pick up my car the office was pretty busy and I did not receive the same level of service as I had before (I was left on my own to find my car in the parking lot with no discussion/review), but that was quickly cleared up with a follow up email from Paul after the holiday. He understood my feeling like my new car was tainted and allowed me to stop back in so he could reassure me and calm my nerves by going over in detail the work they did. (I'm talking he even took me into the shop to show me how a worker was doing a similar repair on another vehicle!) They also popped out a tiny dent for no extra charge! Oh and when the weather is above 20° I can get free car washes! Overall just a really good experience after being put in a crummy situation. I highly recommend Autonation Collision Center!

Paul is the Manager at the body shop. He and his team are fantastic. They do great work and keep you informed during the process.
