What an amazing store. These people really know their business. It is packed with medical equipment and staff that is courteous, helpful and knowledgeable.Purchased a lift chair after Cliff showed me my options. I cannot say enough good about the people. The delivery people are second to none. Setup and explained features.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Had to purchase a few items for an elderly relative at the last minute and the team at Accucare Westlake could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable. They had everything in stock and they made it very easy.

The people know all their different kinds of items and everyone is trained to fit the customer with canes, braces or handicap clothing.The store is very clean with a lot of seating. The restrooms are clean and big I had no problem moving around.I highly recommend AccCare.

DO NOT USE ACCUCARE in Westlake on Center Ridge. My mom who is a disabled former police officer who was shot in the line of duty needs medical equipment. Accucare offered used equipment that I did not accept for pest and equipment failure reasons. For 2 weeks I waited on the new equipment. The "new" equipment was brought to my home but it didn't work. They sent an employee to see what the problem was but he wasn't able to get it to work properly. He expected me to use my body weight to make the equipment work correctly. I refused because the equipment should work with ease. Accucare failed to remedy the issue and sent me on my way. I am appalled that a local store that I was trying to patronize would do this to a person in need.

Reached out to twice to get someone to come out to quote my parents house for a ramp. Each time I talked to someone on the phone I left all the information and no one came out or called me back. Very disappointing.

Bought a very expensive chair which broke down the material did not wear well. In the meantime the accounting office which is less than desirable would not make a claim with Medicare which they are required to do with a prescription, blaming my doctor office. However when I first confronted them said too busy flooded with paperwork and short staffed. Paid in full for the chair. Before the year expired I sent the claim in so here I am after an entire year with no reimbursement yet waiting for an answer. Service on this chair slow from manufacturing the material they brought is very insufficient and now sitting worse than before. The manufacturer contacted me and they basically blew off what I had to say. My suggestion buy a cheap chair at Drug Mart may have to replace it sooner than later but at least you're not paying top dollar and getting poor quality. Good luck if you're filing medicare through them. Liveand learn what not to do.

AccuCare has been helpful but several calls once my order way place Heather and Gale extremely helpful in trying to sort things out.Unable to deliver on day ordered due to delivery personnel problem but arrived the next day.My name was put in system twice under 2 names , spelling slightly different. This caused billing to an incorrect card, which they fixed and refunded. I was billed for the following month despite I m sitting here waiting for the delivery person to arrive.Thank you Gail for fixing this and canceling the order.I spoke with the drive and was quoted the time of by noon for pickup. It s 3:00 and no communication on where the driver is. Had I not been given a time I wouldn't be frustrated.Other than the driver/delivery/pick up issues this is a good place. Perhaps another is needed or a helper for the driver

If I could write a negative review I would. Rude.Unorganized. No one keeps track of things on paper... organize your place with a system....a computer system. When a Dr sends Rx over you'll scan an find it better... then you don't have to be RUDE to people. You'll keep files on customers so you can keep track of things. Will not be returning... EVER. So rude.

Although we're not a pharmacy, and we do not fill medications of any kind, we are in partner with Anthem Blue cross and blue shield and Medicare, (Not Humana, AARP, or Medicade) to help with covering you on any of your medical equipment needs. Not only do we fit for mastectomies, we sell almost everything from a simple round band-aid, to motorized scooters, up to lift chair recliners, to hospital beds. We also have a fantastic variety of compression socks to help keep you on your feet If we don't have it, well try to get it for you or guide you elsewhere. We also rent out selective equipment. We pride ourselves with the ability to keep our neighborhoods active, mobile, and happy. Therefore, we also provide certain equipment repairs and will provide not only stair lifts, but the installation of stair lifts. So come on in, take a look around, and leave confident, knowing you have our support during your hardest and healthiest times.

Beware of the Westlake branch!\nObnoxious, verbally abusive & irrational manager.\nAdvice: avoid this store.\nI am in my 70’s so I’ve been around for a while but I’ve never ever encountered a person in charge of a store anywhere close to this crazy.\nI called this morning and simply asked for their help:\n1) applying the Dr’s prescription for the wheelchair we rented for my wife’s broken hip to the bill,\n2) with returning the wheelchair before the month rental expires this weekend as they are not open on weekends and they close weekdays at 5pm.\nUnfortunately my work starts before they open at 9am & I can’t leave work before 4:30 - not in time.\nThen without cause, she went off on me yelling and said I was a deadbeat attempting to beat the bill and cheat them. Further she knew I was one when she rented me the wheelchair on October 6th.\nI have never been called a cheat and spoken to like that in in my life. I found it very offensive\nI informed her she was mistaken. I never met her, saw her or spoke with her. I dealt solely with a male approximately my age who was a perfect gentleman.\nThat was the one and only time I had ever been in their or any medical equipment rental store in my life.\nI told this manager that I had no intention of beating the bill as she loudly claimed but she continued to berate me as as just anther guy attempting to avoid paying what they owed.\nShe then said she was going to credit the Dr’s prescription the three dollars - which is all it was worth - and that’s all I was arguing over ( i.e. inferring I was a cheap skate and a dumb one).\nI have some doubt that is accurate but I did tell her to go ahead and charge our credit card just to end her screaming rant.\nHaving experienced this obviously unstable managers unwarranted tirade, I am very concerned with the corporate culture at Accucare that would place such a person in charge of their Westlake branch. I would hesitate before dealing with this company again

This is a family owned business and they actually treat you like you're part of their family when you go in there so friendly and get whatever it is that you need they're very knowledgeable today I went in to buy an oxygenator for my mom and Cliff really once a distance for me thank you again for all your care for the elderly

Visit this store for a unique experience of a crowded mess with dusty items tucked everywhere that look like they’ve been there for decades. Seriously, go see what I mean.Went for a lift chair. The salesman was not knowledgeable about product info. Spent $1,120 there only because it was cheaper than on-line vendors due to their in-home delivery.They said they would call me to pay and schedule delivery for Monday. They never called so I called three times on Friday, leaving messages for Lisa, who they promised would call me back each time. Nope. They lost the fax from the doctor. It’s a disorganized mess.I did get the chair delivered on Monday. The paperwork was soaked because it was raining, guess there was no solution to that? Don’t say you weren’t warned ?
