Our helper has made such a wonderful impact in the life of our elderly mother. Knowing that she's in such great hands and enjoys the companionship so much has alleviated a lot of our stress. So thankful to have found Senior Helpers of Columbus!

I recently saw online where my parent's senior helper has been posting photos on her personal, public, social media page of my elderly parent. If this caregiver were actually a skilled professional, this would be a HIPAA violation. I find it wildly inappropriate to post pictures of a client in a public social media account. A true "caregiver" wouldn't post pictures of someone who is actually incapable of posting pictures of them self on social media. I also find it unprofessional that the owner of Senior Helpers is commenting on these posts. He is aware and enabling that to be acceptable. It isn't. It is disgusting and unprofessional. I understand the need in today's world for people to overshare for likes and accolades, but it can be done without names/photos. That crosses a line. My suggestion: If you want professional caregiver services, find someone who wants to be more than a "caregiver", and will adhere to HIPAA standards, even if they don't "have" to. Find a company that wants to be better than they have to be, so you don't question the other questionable behaviors when it comes to care of an aging parent. Unfortunately, this is just one questionable behavior...of one specific caregiver.

You Sent someone over. He Lied about his name. Just walked into the house. Showed up 3 hours early. The worker refused to do any work and said he had a emergency and left. Owner kean dillon was suppose to come with worker at 1pm and never showed up. He was asked to do things that was told he could do during the in house assessment. The worker went out front to make a call then came back in and said he had a emergency and had to leave. Called senior helpers and left a message. Called kean Dillon and left a message. No answers. Called the police and wrote a police report since we have no idea who this was. Finally got ahold of Kean Dillon through answering services demanding to speak with him to figure out if this person even belonged later in the evening. He confirmed the individual who came in was a employee and doesn't know why he lied about his name. The employee called them right after he left and said he won't do the work because the house needs a cleaning company and not him. This was the reason they were hired in the first place. They said they could do the things requested in the in home assessment. After he left nobody would call back messages left. How about a phone call saying sorry we took on something we shouldn't have? Or just some sort of explanation. Because of that you got a 1 star review. Be better to people they don't deserve your ignorance. The seniors need help not lies and dishonesty. SENIORS--Watch out for this company. They are not in business to help you. Keep looking and make a decision based on real reviews like mine. That's as honest and real as it gets.

What a company! I called on a Thursday with an urgent need for an aide that weekend. Shelby was able to come on the next day, get me enrolled, and have someone there that evening. Now, that's service! The aide that came was polite, kind, and professional. Within the first 5 minutes we already had a great relationship.
