I will never forget the emotional moment we dropped off our four-month-old daughter at Primrose daycare. As an African parent, it was unfamiliar territory - back home, children typically don't start daycare until age two! But I am so glad we took the leap. The staff at Primrose put our minds at ease, assuring us that our little one was in capable hands. What struck us most during our initial tour was the palpable joy and warmth that filled the school. The children beamed with happiness, and the staff knew each one by name - a testament to the nurturing environment they've created.Fast forward, and we're absolutely thrilled with the care our daughter receives! The communication is prompt, the Procare updates are extremely helpful, and the bond between the staff and our child is heartwarming. If you're a parent seeking exceptional childcare, I wholeheartedly recommend Primrose Polaris. We feel grateful and blessed to have found such a wonderful community for our little one to grow and thrive. As the African proverb goes, 'it takes a village to raise a child.' The staff at Primrose have truly become part of our village, and we're forever grateful!

We've had a wonderful experience for our daughter, who has been in both the young toddler and toddler rooms. The teachers here are genuinely invested in each child's development, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment. Communication with the leadership team has been great, it definitely shows that they're always informed and involved in our daughter's journey. Highly recommend Primrose School at Polaris!

Our son went here for PreK and Kindergarten enrichment. Ms. Meagan and Ms Jennifer are excellent! Could not recommend them enough. Both have passion for teaching and genuinely care about our son and our family.

We did not think we would be in the position to find a different preK option for our youngest than what we had for our oldest, but due to circumstances beyond our control, we did a search last spring and toured Primrose. From the moment we walked in, our boys (one in preK and one in the after school Explorers option) have been enamored with their teachers and in the best of hands. Our youngest has made lots of new friends, developed more social-emotional skills, and is more than ready for kindergarten. Our oldest continues to learn even after he’s “done” with school for the day, but in the most fun way possible for a first grader, he doesn’t even realize it’s “still school.”Our son has said he now “wants to be a teacher like Mr. Nick and Mrs. Gee!” … which is about the highest compliment you can get from a 4-year-old.We have and will continue to recommend Primrose to anyone!

When our family relocated to the Columbus area our first priority was finding a daycare for our little one. After touring a few daycares in the area we thought we had found the perfect fit. Unfortunately we had a really bad experience and disenrolled our child after the first 15 minutes. This left us on edge about trusting another provider and weighing our long term options of one of us giving up our career. We schedule a tour at Primrose Polaris along with every other place we remotely thought looked acceptable, fully guarded with a mind set that daycare just wasn’t going to work for us since our trust was so broken. From the moment we walked in the door every single interaction with the staff and teachers made us know we had officially found the right place. The team is very organized, knowledgeable, and nurturing to every student that walks through the door. We are so happy we found Primrose Polaris and would highly recommend them to anyone.

We left our prior daycare due to quality, safety and reliability concerns. We have been so impressed by Primrose! Everything is high quality, the teachers, staff, programs and facility! We would definitely recommend Primrose at Polaris for anyone looking for a reliable, consistent, safe daycare for their children.

We love everything about Primrose! Our son absolutely loves going to daycare everyday and we truly feel Primrose has been so beneficial for his developmental and social skills. The staff is very friendly, responsive, and welcoming. The parent app makes us feel so informed throughout the day on what our son is up to and how he’s doing. We love this daycare!!

Payment issues that took weeks and a one on one meeting to correct, unfriendly teachers who do not say good morning or goodbye or even help get my toddler situated in the mornings, rude comments when my son was dropped off and crying (one teacher said to another “that’ll wake you up in the morning…” updates to me about my son eating snacks on days he’s not even there, updates on app that he has been checked out when he wasn’t. They stopped putting a nap time diaper on him and was wetting himself daily at nap time still. I had to tell them myself he obviously wasn’t ready for that transition and to continue using nap diapers. And then coincidentally my son had such bad behavior issues that two days in a row was sent home- after I had given my two week notice that he would be leaving.I wanted to like this school but I believe they hire people who are unqualified to care for toddlers. The front desk people were friendly- but honestly that is the only thing I found acceptable.

Since enrolling our son at Primrose in June, we have had nothing but positive experiences. As a remote worker, I definitely had hesitations about enrolling my 8 month old (at the time) son in daycare. However, I knew that between him and working a 9-5 (even at home), I would be swamped. He deserved the attention and education that I would not be able to provide for him while working, and that is exactly what he has received. His teachers do an amazing job communicating with our family and always have positive things to say about our son. We frequently receive photos and notes on the app about how his day is going, what he has eaten, and his diaper changes. The front desk staff is amazing and always have a smile on their faces!I have been particularly happy with his current teacher, Andrea and the compassion she shows towards my son. We have recently decided to say goodbye to his bottles and binky throughout the day and she has updated us every step of the way, and even consoles him when needed. She truly treats the students in her classroom as her own and I can tell her love for teaching is genuine. We are also very excited for tap and tumble once he turns 18 months!!Overall, I am extremely happy with our decision to enroll at Primrose Polaris and hope to continue our relationship with the school.

Don't pay attention to any reviews before December 2022. New ownership took over and it became absolutely terrible. The teachers tried their best but didn't have the support or resources to be successful. There just weren't enough teachers to appropriately supervise the kids and it was pandemonium. I began getting calls DAILY about my child's behavior (never had any behavior concerns before this school). We changed schools and haven't had a problem since the day we left. We met with the "education coach" and director who tried to give parenting advice instead of addressing the problems in the school setting. I have spoken with a dozen other parents who have since unenrolled their child from this school for the same reasons. There is a reason this is one of the only schools in the area without a wait list.

We have been sending our (now 3 yo) son to Primrose for almost two years and we couldn’t be more pleased with our decision to choose Primrose at Polaris as our daycare. The teachers are so supportive, well-trained, and show genuine care and compassion for the children in their room(s) each day. I have also watched as our son’s vocabulary, skills, and knowledge have just blossomed and it’s a joy to see him grow. The staff and admin team are phenomenal and wonderful to work with. I feel at ease knowing our little guy is in such great hands each day. Thank you all for the great work you do (even in a pandemic). You make it seem effortless and we know it’s not so easy. Well done and thank you for going above and beyond!

UPDATE 9/20/22: I learned recently that the negative issues I was experiencing was due to one person, the regional director. I had a candid conversation with the director of the Polaris location who will be running the center in the future, and she was very easily able to put my concerns at ease. I learned from her that some of the concerns that I’m experiencing are temporary, and that primrose is actively working on resolving them. The director of the location seems to genuinely care about the school and families that attend it. Based on the conversation and understanding the goals of the location, I’m updating my review from 2 stars to 4 stars. If this is the direction that this location is heading, I would recommend it.This place is ok, but it’s bare minimum.Shop around, understand your total value. All of the daycares in the area have recently got together to implement a significant price increase - we’re talking $400+ a week for one baby up to 18 months. I have a prek student and an infant - the price change will put us at over $2800 a month in childcare for two children. The pricing is absurd, but if you shop around you’ll see the difference in value. At this primrose there isn’t a language program, there isn’t tap and tumble or soccer shots like the other daycares have. Crème de la creme daycare center has culinary, bowling, dance all on site for a similar price. The kids have had a few good teachers (Infant room specifically), but many others seem more like babysitters instead of teachers. Very bare minimum.Massive turnover for the past 2 years and the location was recently sold to new owners. Very little communication from teachers to parents in the older classrooms.I have an infant. Recently a change was implemented in which they allow young toddlers to be dropped off in the infant room. They don’t enforce things that other daycares enforce, such as taking shoes off at the door, etc. the director will tell you it’s “not something they can legally enforce”. What? It’s a stark difference from other centers that make it a priority to keep the most vulnerable children as healthy as possible by enforcing good sanitary measures. Not only are you battling infant illnesses, but now toddler illnesses as well. And remember, you’re still paying $400 a week regardless if your child is out sick or not. I’m considering taking my infant out and putting him in a better environment, but weighing out the inconvenience of taking them to two different centers. The only reason my kids are still here is because I have a 4 year old that starts kindergarten soonish and I don’t want to have to move her when she’s so close to leaving. I’m not the only parent that feels this way, which I learned recently at a classmates birthday party.

Its just ok now. Was top notch before COVID but lost their best people the last year or 2. Maybe the newer workers will be great in time but at this point, they just arent as caring & loving as people (Miss Kelsey for example) who arent there anymore
