They are very knowledgeable about everything in the store, especially with types of food types and healthy dog snacks. We have made many purchases of leashes, harnesses and toys. Love this place!

Dotties Pet Pawlor Grooming and Treatery
640 W Schrock Rd, WestervilleMy large dog Chief is a rescue and former breeding dog with anxiety. He is nervous about everything and also now a senior at 12. I first found Dotties in 2022 when we felt his anxiety was managed enough to try his first groom while in our care. I was also nervous as he is scared of new people - not aggressive, but can shut down a little.
Dottie's has been a great grooming experience. They really take their time with him, especially as he's gotten older and started having more issues standing the whole time during his groom due to hip arthritis. They also do a great job with the groom in general - his coat always looks amazing when he comes home. As a German Shepherd and a major shedder, his regular grooms keep his coat healthy.
Dottie's takes pictures of your pets in front of seasonal backdrops after each groom. My dog doesn't always photograph well or cooperate well with the pictures, but they are a nice little treat for us owners. Having an album of dog pictures to look at is a nice memory.
For the December 2024 holiday season, they did paw print gifts for pet parents, which I thought was a really sweet gift.
I would recommend this shop for anyone who needs a big dog groomer and/or someone who needs understanding and compassionate staff for their nervous pup. We will definitely take any future dogs to Dotties as well!
They also have a cat groomer - I've never used this service, but I know it can be hard to find cat groomers at independent pet grooming salons.

Lynne has been helping me with my dogs nutritional needs as well because as she says “she wants t see them live longer too”. She’s very knowledgeable and caring and I would never consider taking my dogs anywhere else.

Arthur was a little nervous and the thunderstorm didn't help but he had a great 1st time experience and we definitely will be back! Our requests were listened to and done just as we asked. He looks great! It has taken a few groomers to find the perfect fit and Wags to Whiskers is the perfect fit. It was worth the wait !

Banfield Pet Hospital
99 Westerville Plaza, WestervilleThe office fee is now $73 just to see the vet, when it used to be closer to $50. It is $100 to get my cat rabies vaccinated. I’m being priced out of Banfield. The monthly OWP plans feel predatory, as they auto-renew into another 12-month contract by default when you signup. It’s unfortunate that the contract is written with no way to opt out of auto-renew without calling Banfield corporate, which is notoriously difficult to reach.
The staff and clinic are wonderful. They always treat me and my pet with care and kindness. My only small critique is that they still take pets “to the back” by default during appointments. If you ask, they’ll do the exam in the room, but you have to specifically request it.
Overall, great staff and availability, but corporate pricing and policies have become unreasonable; prices have increased 30–40% since 2020 ?

Sterling K9 Retreat
2535 W Schrock Rd, WestervilleCan’t recommend Sterling K9 Retreat enough! Our dog absolutely loves visiting for daycare and you can tell the employees really care for the animals. The playroom is huge and they have tons of different enrichment activities planned each month. We love that we get daily report cards and get to see pictures/videos of our dog’s day. We have also used Sterling for overnight boarding as well and truly don’t trust anyone else to take such great care of our pup. He is so happy there! They are the best!

We got the Westerville omelet with an extra blueberry pancake, the traditional eggs benedict, and the chorizo and hash. I really enjoyed the flavor of the eggs benedict and would highly recommend it. All the food was freshly prepared and didn't taste heavy (overly fatty). Everyone enjoyed their food, but I would recommend their pancakes and the eggs benedict the most.

The mushrooms were fantastic, except a couple of the larger ones were cold in the center. Not a huge fan of square cut pizza either but it doesn’t matter. I’ll definitely be back for the food. The staff is always super nice and I love their unique decor. You have to stop in!

Prices for a little burrito or a quesadillas kind of high being that they don't come with a side of rice or beans. You can pay the same price at a Mexican restaurant and get a bigger burrito, and it comes with both sides . So this is more like what you get from a food truck. Probably the only downside.
