I’ll echo what others have said here. It’s frustrating when you drive to the store during normal business hours and it’s just closed for some reason. Today at 1:15pm on a Saturday afternoon. The gate is up and the store is locked. This is the 4th or 5th time I’ve encountered this at this particular store, which is the reason I’m writing this review. I don’t like to complain, but this store is a bit ridiculous.

Employee added warranties to the games I purchased without asking me. Then told me the system auto adds them and removed them when I called him out on it. This is illegal in some states and a fire-able offense at all locations, as it is considered fraud. I will not return to this location till this person is gone.

Went to store at 7:20 and they were closed when they are not supposed to close until 8! Ridiculous!

Oof I’ve been going here since I was a kid, just had the worst experience ever though. Whoever the girl with curly hair and the nose ring is was incredibly rude and not helpful. Would rather go to a different GameStop for that sole reason. I don’t think Dunkey would recommend either

I called in and inquired about the Spider-Man PS5 controller. It showed that online that That it was available for pick up comma so I called into check. The guy said no I don't think so, if it was he would have got it and then I asked if he could look it up.
And he said it will take a few brief moments and put me on hold, I was on hold for 11 minutes and called back. The guy that answered the phone refused to help me and made me wait for the guy to finish with his customer he was with. When the guy got on the phone, he asked me what he could help me with. And I stayed. Did you forget about me? Because what was you looking for again. And I said the PS5 controller and he goes. Oh am I asked him if he forgot and he said yes. Are then asked him if he would look it up? And he said that he already did it he couldn't find it anywhere. He's obviously lying because he flat out admitted that he forgot about me. Not cool.

4:20PM on a Friday afternoon mid-holiday shopping season. Stopped to pick up an online order. Lights on, nobody home. Sign on the door says: "Lunch back in 30 minutes." Ridiculous.Next day, waiting for them to open. Walked up to the store at 10:55AM and waited. 10:57AM, Doordash shows up with McDonalds. Employee opens the door, tales her fast food, them shuts the door in my face, saying "we don't open until 11"11:00AM and another employee struggles to push the security curtain back, then leaves without opening the door. Door finally opened at 11:02AM. Absolutely ridiculous and never again.

When we asked where the games were for an NintendoDS she pointed and said over there. If you have ever been in this place over there could have been a lot of places. I asked again over where the wall or the rack in front of the wall. Her comment was with the games on the wall. I asked are they mixed in or organized my system. She finally came over and said if they say DS on them. Well I’m 65 and have know idea. Out of all of the games she found 3.

At 10:21 AM today, on December 15, 2023, I went to exchange a video game I purchased for my son. Two days ago, I bought a Nintendo Switch and the Spider-Man 2 game for the PS5 without realizing that the PS5 game wouldn't play on a PS4. When I asked the customer service representative for information, she gave me attitude and rolled her eyes. Despite being respectful, honorable, and disciplined as a Purple Heart veteran, I felt prejudged based on my appearance. When I inquired about controllers for the Nintendo Switch, she responded dismissively. When I asked for the manager, she refused to assist me. I was shocked by the contrast with the great service I received two days ago. This simple return escalated into a heated argument. While I'm not asking for her to be fired, I do believe she needs better people skills or should consider a different field of work.

I haven't even gotten in the store yet and know it's not going to be a pleasant experience. Called, was rude to and hung up on. Get to store and it's closed off hours. Sign in window. Phone called ignored. Knicks ignored. Looking me in my face from back room ignored. They appear to be taking trash out. Horrible service when so many are looking for jobs

Stopped in yesterday to purchase a Xbox and some Christmas gifts although there was a lot going on in the store Monica and Nathan were very helpful. They answered all of our questions, and even let us know there was a better deal on the new consoles

The female employee was super helpful and answered all of my kids questions. The other employee was struggling to bring up my gift cards, and Monica stepped in to help and figure it out for us She even helped my youngest kid with the Nintendo switches

Store hours are incorrect. Went at noon on a Saturday and store was locked up. Went to 3 other stores in area ALL CLOSED. Very disappointed in the whole company tbh
