I don't understand all the bad reviews given on here because every time I've stayed here there have been zero problems. It seems there are bad reviews on all hotels and motels until it makes you afraid to stay at any of them. Ever.

I checked into this hotel after midnight and they kept charging a deposit to my card saying their systems were down. I paid for the room with Marriott points. I checked out with a $0 bill and they still hit my card with a $39.30 charge even though the statement says $0. On top of that, my key card for my room didn't work and the manager had to let me in via his master key. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. Don't get room 213.. The breakfast items were also not replenished. I went from the best Fairfield in Asheville to the worst in Polaris in one day. What a stark difference. Marriott needs new management here.

AC sounded like an 80s rockband concert all throughout the night. Couldn’t sleep. Needs some maintenance, staff didn’t know what to say.

If you make a reservation don’t even bother!!! I made a reservation for 2 rooms and they gave them away and they were full by the time we got there. They didn’t honor my booking reservation at all!!! They gave me papers for me to try to figure out another place to stay and no one would take their stupid paper that they offer for supposedly paying a night. They didn’t even bother to call me or anything either. Such a horrible horrible experience especially when you travelled long ways.

Bed was completely caved in (if kids didn’t fall asleep before I noticed this I would have requested a new room). When I looked under the bed the next morning, the support beam for the mattress/box spring wasn’t even connected to the bed, it was laying on the floor. While looking under the bed I also found a dirty sock and underwear that were not ours, so gross. Told the front desk all of my complaints at checkout and was asked if I would like to be contacted by the general manager which I responded absolutely. The general manager hasn’t called yet (it’s been 3 days since checkout) and hasn’t returned my voicemail that I left.Overall the hotel is outdated, dirty, and poor customer service. Best part of stay was the free breakfast.

Very clean rooms. The front desk is super accommodating and the hot breakfast is really nice. Not to mention everything is within five minutes of the hotel. Also late night eats available to be doordashed or ubered to your room.

This hotel is poorly managed and BELOW Marriott standards in multiple ways ! The rear stairway was dirty with vomit and was not cleaned after requested for two days. The pullout couch in the room was rusted and broken. We needed business use of WiFi which did not work for two days.Breakfast was often unstaffed and we could not get milk. The cinnamon shaker was filled with salt, and we have a salt sensitivity. No towels in pool Sunday, no sanitary wipes available in gymOverall this was the worst Marriott property I've stayed at in 30 years, Giving this 2 stars only for some kind staff that tried their best.

This Fairfield is becoming my preferred Marriott location in the Polaris area. Breakfast is filled with variety and in a clean, open space. The treadmills in the gym work, including the attached televisions. Outside there is a nice paved trail to run or walk. And for those late night hunger pangs, Skyline Chili and McDonald's are a short walk away.

Good location! Friendly and helpful staff. Would not recommend hotel based on rooms...carpets stained, screen torn, lightly dented, rusty door frame to bathroom, bed caved in the middle, curtains do not close and light right outside window. Find an alternative place to stay.

My husband and I stayed here on a Friday spur of the moment. Quinn checked us in and was very friendly. Our room was clean, had a seating area and a bedroom, two TVs, a microwave and a mini fridge. We enjoyed the hot tub but didn’t get in the pool. Several families were in the pool and having a great time. You need to yank on the door pretty hard to get into the pool area and be sure to stop by the front desk to ask for pool towels. We played poker in the breakfast area late into the evening and the people coming and going were friendly. Very positive overall vibe. Breakfast is included but we chose to sleep in so I can’t tell you what was served. Parking was free. We had a great time!

Front desk, Amber was amazing, but, no towels? That's crazy.

Beautiful place and great service. Depending on where you are driving from, location could be farther from you.
