This is different from the Chase branch I usually visit but the nice thing about Chase is that they have branches all over town. When I happened to be in this part of town and needed to do some banking, this was the most convenient location. The staff was friendly, professional, and accommodating. The branch wasn't busy and I was able to get "in and out" quickly.

Pleased with the results of a recent interaction. Had a problem w/Worthington Square Chase. After wasting approximately 45 mins of my time at a scheduled appointment there the clerk: J. Salmeron was unable to offer any solution to my issue and provided no useful advice. I left and called another nearby Chase Bank (Westerville/Polaris). I explained my issue and the lady Kimberly Coker asked when I could stop by. I visited Westerville/Kim a couple of days later and she resolved the issue for me. Kimberly deserves a gold star for helping me out with an issue the Worthington Square Chase apparently didn't feel was worth their time or effort to help me out with.

Warning do not go with them unless you don't care about your credit score. Chase Auto told my husband that we didn't owe anything else when we asked them several times. We requested the buy out documents from chase to give them to the credit union to process our car loan to buy our lease. The credit union failed to process the loan on time and didn't communicate with us. Chase claims they sent out a notice on August 4,2021 to us but we never received it but Chase Auto loan is blaming me for that. Anyways, I just received two separate letters both dated on August 19, 2021. One letter is stating basically that my account is passed due and the other one stating that if not taken care of within 10 days from when the letter is dated, my car will be repossessed. I paid it today because it was just communicated today through these two letters. My credit score dropped 136 points as a result to chases lack of communication. Chase always sends me a live bill and once they became aware that I was taking my loan business to the credit union, they suddenly decided not to send me a live bill for the first time in 3 years? Like they wanted to purposely watch me fail? They expected me to know to go online and check that I had a balance after they originally told me I wouldn't owe them anything anymore but owed the credit union from now on. But yet I'm being held responsible even through I never got the first letter nor a live bill? I had perfect credit and so did my husband. But they ruined both. Why would we in our right minds decide to mess up our credit scores on purpose? It was all done without our knowledge. Why would we be perfect on making payments to chase throughout the whole lease and purposely want our credit score to go from 800 something to 600 something? The answer is we wouldn't. I have never been late making my auto payments and would have appreciated and expected a call from them out of respect since I have been a good customer. It was a lack of communication.

I was parked out front of their bank working on something on my phone. I had come to ask a question but it had just turned 6 so I knew their lobby was already closed. All the employees piled up at the entrance and made me drive away before they could exit. They acted like scared children and apparently could not leave until no one was in a car near the entrance?? Super weird..

The general banking instruments and the bank itself, along with their checking and savings accounts are great. They have a top notch mobile application as well, and online bill pay is great - 5* As for their Chase Private Client program, and investment services, unfortunately they are junk. I had a great private client banker for a while, after she had left I didn't get much help or attention, the investment services are plain garbage in my view. I felt I had been mislead on a few items, and when it was time for help again no one was there. I'm in the process of bleeding off all of my accounts with them now due to this- 1*

This location is absolutely awful. So rude all of the time. One of the tellers always get involved in the other tellers business and is very condescending to customers. We were having an issue with my deposit one day she butted in. And then when we got the branch manager involved she sat there glaring at me and scoffing. Everything at this branch is 10x more difficult than it has to be. Do not take your business here. Chase bank is great but this location is absolutely dreadful. Update: I swear it's every time I come here it's something different that's a struggle. "When making change we really recommend you come into the lobby" "ma'am your lobby isn't open" not to mention she didn't understand that when she moved her mouth away from the mic- I couldn't hear her!

Opening an account here is a pain in the neck. Please call them before hand to find out the documents you need to save time. Expect to wait for an hour.

This is a bad branch full of unhelpful people. Bank somewhere else. We have a mortgage, several small accounts and investments with Chase and went into this branch to set up a Heloc after we'd just paid off a prior Heloc. I thought Chase would at least be helpful and we'd have a local connection. We were immediately fobbed off to a person at a call center in another state who was rude, unhelpful and unable to answer basic questions. We asked questions like "why did you make your decisions in the manner that you did?" only to be told "because of the numbers." Thanks for the explanation. We were told my wife needed to change her legal name but never told why. The folks at the branch were equally useless. The Heloc processing took many weeks, documents were not forwarded from the branch in a timely manner and we could only communicate via a secure email system that was cumbersome. Even after repeated complaints about the inability to talk to anyone about our loan, we decided to withdraw it. We've still never been able to get anyone to return calls and answer questions. Brenddon at the branch was useless (never bothered to call back after he asked us to provide him specifics so he could elevate our concerns) and "Nicole" at the call center was awful. While it's a pain and will take some time, I'm going to start the process of finding another bank. I'm going to remember this awful experience and tell others about it. I'm going to avoid Chase in my future business dealings as well.

I'm so disappointed, tired, and frustrated for opening an account at this Chase site. The Details: This branch (including a few other central Ohio banks) did a promo for a free $100 if you open a checking account on a certain day. My family and I talked it over and decided to switch banks to Chase for a few reasons, and this extra $100 iced the deal. I opened the account with Tamera with the stipulation that I needed to receive a direct deposit within 60 days. My employer had financial issues with their contractor and ended up giving two hard checks instead of two direct deposits. I had been promised 2 direct deposits, which is why I thought I was safe on the promo before opening the account. I went to this branch after having deposited my checks thinking surely they'd understand if I explained. I called Tamera to explain the situation. Our reception was weird so we hung up and I called her right back, as agreed. But in the 15 seconds we were off line, she went to lunch! Just typing it makes me frustrated. It was incredibly rude. I was shuffled to another banker and quickly they told me no. The next day, I went into the branch, and showed the new banker multiple email apologies from my employer about the lack of direct deposits. I showed her the promo flyer and my account info. She asked how old I was, whether I had opened an account like this before, and finally said there wasn't anything they could do but that she'd check with her supervisor. Over a week later, I received a call that they still decided not to give the $100 promo. What is $100 to JP Morgan Chase Bank? I'm not pulling a fast one on them. I just want them to keep their freaking promise! I explained the situation to another branch months later and the banker agreed that the Maxtown branch was not acting in the best interest of the client, as they are directed. It felt selfish and corrupt. He emailed Tamera and their branch manager and received no response from either. The Bottom Line: Even if they are totally valid in keeping that promotional $100 for themselves, the people at this branch ignored, shuffled, and insulted me. I lost faith in all of Chase Bank before encountering Tyson from the 23 branch. GO TO ANOTHER BRANCH. The Maxtown branch is a demoralizing headache.
