Took two Bissell vacuums to be repaired. Neither brush was turning properly. Luke was amazing and fixed one on the spot by replacing the brush and belt. He also was able to order a new belt and plate for the other. I was expecting to pay about the same as a new vacuum but prices were very reasonable. Will definitely come back for any vacuum-related repairs. Thanks!

I support local businesses but did not have a good experience at Carmen's. I brought in my older vacuum because it was making a smokey smell. They called me back two days later and listed everything that was wrong (belt, motor, etc.). They said that for just $50 more they'd sell me a brand new vacuum. I decided to have my husband look at it so I declined services and picked it up to take home. My husband opened the vacuum up and saw a big clump or fur/dirt/dust that was clogging it up. He pulled it out and now my vacuum is back to normal. The people at Carmen's clearly never even opened it up or did anything to see what was wrong. I will not be returning.

We have an older Dyson DC-14 vacuum. It stopped working recently, but I was reluctant to throw it away. Yesterday, I called Carmen’s in Westerville and spoke with Luke. He was kind and offered a couple of suggestions I had tried but also welcomed me to bring the machine to the store. I did do yesterday afternoon. Luke was there and tried the vacuum. It made the noise I’d described. He moved it to the counter and took the impeller apart. He cleaned out the rotating ends, reinstalled it, and it worked like a charm! Thank you, Luke! I know not every repair is as simple as mine. I was fortunate. But please try to give repair a shot if you at all can. I know if I have a vacuum problem again, I’ll head to Carmen’s and ask for Luke! Thanks again!

Took my vacuum for a service and after long delays, received my vacuum back scratched. They denied they damaged the vacuum so we contacted Jason, the manager of Carmen's. He said they would take care of it and to go to the High St location. Upon taking it there, they were reluctant to repair it but said they could once they got the part. After weeks of not hearing, I called and they didn't return my call. I called again and they said they were waiting for parts. After another 10 days of not hearing, I contacted the vacuum manufacturer directly and they confirmed no parts were ordered. I just worked directly with the manufacturer and another vacuum repair shop to get it done in a week. Beware of working with Carmen's!

Great service at Carmen's. Took my wet vac in for service. I knew what might be wrong, and they confirmed it within a couple of days. They couldn't fix it for me (the part isn't made anymore) but I would definitely be interested in purchasing a refurbished machine from them- they have a lot to choose from!

I took my Dyson vacuum in thinking it would need major repair. It took Luke less than 5 minutes to fix the issue and he did not charge me a dime! I will most definitely go back for service and purchase. Thank you Luke for making my day a bit easier!!

It was time to change the filter on my Hoover Foldaway. Try as I might, I couldn't get the replacement on. Went to the Westerville shop & presto, they put it on. The problem? The top of the old filter had stuck on so the new one was too high for it to close! What a klutz I was. They were very nice & I learned something today.
