The store in West Lafayette Ohio is a complete mess you couldn't get a wheel chair down the isles and they don't stock shelfs properly ?

Honestly one of the worst shops I've been to, worked here in 2021 and left them came back in 2022 was the biggest mistake I could make. And for the people who keep saying that they never have anything on the shelves go to Walmart stop whining about how some store looks n just go somewhere else

This place is a death trap, a lawsuit waiting to happen and I'd imagine a thorn in the side of corporate.I have learned the art of body contortionist having to flex and force my way in between heavy, product laden carts pressed back to back and piled nearly to the ceiling. I almost crushed a small kid between two of these "carts" while trying to get a curtain rod and wrapping paper.I cannot believe that OSHA isn't all over this place and frankly, that no patrons have been crushed while looking for cereal.Unfortunately, it's been like this for quite awhile now and I'm amazed if the store has maintained any level of profit to continue operations. You could go daily for something common, they will still not have it stocked weeks later. This is not an exaggeration. Im told it's due to lack of employees, yet I'm suprised to see three employees "hanging out" in the break room. EVERY TIME, NO MATTER HOW BUSY OR UNDERSTOCKED THE STORE IS. This is not covid shortage, I mean things like milk, cereal, bread...The employees you do see are rude and irritated by your asking for help or noticing that items are consistently charged for more than the advertised prices. As if their inability to do their job correctly is somehow my fault. I've managed several small family businesses, nonprofits and worked with Fortune 500's; I've NEVER seen anything like this.TLDRIf you go for a box of cheerios wear something that provides a good level of flexibility to start your parkour training in;Bring a box cutter to open boxes to find un-stocked items you're in need of. Or just remember to stop somewhere else before coming home to the area. Try to survive!

i've had absolutely no problem with this store. employees are nice and the customer service is great! people just love to complain especially Brenda S. quit whining and go to another store. yeah because it's the employees fault that they can't find the manager. that makes sense it's so easy to just GO TO ANOTHER STORE lolll and she really thought she did something posting on yelp hahahahaha like that devastated their business. poor dollar general. all because of brenda's yelp review, dollar general is now losing so much money

They never have what we need. The items are always in boxes and on crates. The whole aisle of clearance/home goods you can't even look in because they are full of them. There employees where just standing around when they could have been unloading the frate. They are rude when you ask then a question politely.

This place frightens me. It’s always dirty, always understaffed, and always not worth going.
