1st door opener ever,that's was the product I purchased. Good workmanship,fast,knowledgeable and it came with an outdoor wireless door opener. I'm thrilled. But they don't do wiring due to liability,all openers come with a plug.

My garage spring broke Wednesday night and Midway called me the next morning to fix it. 4 hours later I had a new spring. We also decided to get a new opener as well which I am very happy with. Midway has done great work for us in the past and they have always been very reasonable, dependable, and honest. It is nice to have a company around that you can count on when you need them, thank you.

Needed a lock bar assembly kit for a manual garage door. Called to make appointment for inspection on 11/6/2020. The service man Dave was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained that he would need to order the assembly kit and would call me within a week to set up an appointment for install. The price of service fee was reasonable and the price of the assembly kit matched online prices. 7 days go by and no phone call to set up install date. We call midway on the 13th ourselves and magically the price of the assembly kit goes up 10 dollars and the service call goes up 5 dollars. Not a big deal, I understand mark ups on parts, but that's strike #1. I agree and the scheduled install is for the 18th.On the day of the install the service man Dustin was super friendly and a very nice young man. Here's where the problems really set in. Instead of a 35.00 lock bar assembly I receive a lock latch kit which online is 25.00. Strike #2 and it's only a single latch and not a double. Strike #3 is when suddenly the service call price goes up another 5 dollars.We're only talking about a few dollars in difference [roughly 22.00] from the original quote, but the seriousness of this problem is that I don't get what I agreed to pay for from day one and they continued to take advantage of the situation. I explained to Dustin the install tech that it wasn't his fault and I paid for the final quote price. I immediately called and spoke with Steve the manager and explained the situation while also explaining that Dustin was a great young man and none of this was his fault. Steve proceeded to tell me that the service call should not have gone up to 95.00 and that they no longer install lock bars. I can understand a change in policy, but that's not what we agreed to.This situation was very unprofessional and very unethical. The company should be ashamed of themselves for promoting themselves as trustworthy and reliable, but when the cameras aren't rolling it's the opposite. I advise anyone going forward with midway to make sure you get everything in writing beforehand and do your own due diligence before you write a check. As for me, I will never do business with this company again and I will never recommend them to anyone I know; actually I will make sure everyone I know learns of this situation.Very unethical.
