I rescued a kitten on the side of the road, and I was so thankful West Chester Vet Center was able to see her on a Sunday. Everyone was so kind and helpful to give this kitten a fighting chance. Thanks!

Dr. Malcom and the West Chester Veterinary Center team are great with my Havanese Jaxon and Havapoo Elliot! They are extremely attentive, patient, informative and always make the experience enjoyable. Jaxon is reactive and the team is so kind and sweet with him. Would recommend to anyone looking for a vet in the West Chester/Liberty Township area!

Dr Reno is so friendly and knowledgeable. I have been coming here for over 2 years now and I have always had a great experience. I recommend WEST CHESTER VET HOSPITAL TO anyone!! And I think Dr Reno is the best doctor here!

This place is terrible. Only reason I went was because I got both of my little dogs from Your New Puppy and they recommended them. They are extremely overpriced. My first time owning dogs and I was stupid and didn't do my research. They are by far the most expensive Vet around. Their staff and even the Vet are not personable at all. They definitely make you feel like they only care about money. Tried to get my dog spayed twice, first time her levels weren't right (ok) but then the second time they called at 2pm and said their tech had to go home so they werent going to do it (?).... when I expressed frustration she fired me as a patient. Ive spent on the upwards of 1500$ in the last year on my 2 new puppies here and thats how they treat their customers. As soon as I got off the phone I called Miamitown Animal Clinic they got me in next week for seriously a quarter of what this place costs. I understand they say you get what you pay for but not with this place. Wish I would have read the reviews on this place first. Don't make my mistake. Literally go anywhere else.

I've used WCVC for all of my animals -- they've taken care of us from new pet to end-of-life, seen us for regular annual checkups and gotten us in for short-notice emergencies. I've always been satisfied with the care we've received from the staff and am grateful for all they've done for us over the years. I highly recommend them.

Horrible customer service. Were incredibly rude and disregarded my concerns for my pets cough when I called in. Told me that the medication wouldn't work unless I gave it to him (duh) after I had shared that I had given it to him but was simply asking if it was normal for his cough to sound the way it did and if I should be concerned. Was never given an answer on if/when I should worry and ended up calling an emergency vet who was willing to listen to the cough over the phone and tell me if I should be concerned. Was told during my first visit with them that the tighter test was optional for my puppy and then was told by the vet the following visit that he "had" to get it. Suddenly a $100 blood test was no longer optional? I started taking him to a new vet and the prices are much cheaper and the service is much better. They shared that the tighter test is really only necessary when you don't plan to keep up with vaccinations. Ended up canceling my puppies neuter appointment with West Chester Veterinary Center because my new vet will be $200 cheaper and they seem to actually care about the health and wellbeing of my pet.

Cannot recommend more. I needed a vaccine updated for my pup who needed last minute boarding so I could travel with my small children out of state. I called on a Saturday and they got us in the very next morning first thing at 10am (had same day available as well!). I asked for help getting my dog inside as my kids were with me and they did just that! Within a few minutes of me texting my arrival, a super sweet tech came to get my anxious dog. I warned her that she may have trouble getting her in due to her fear of new buildings and people/doorways. GUYS. She went RIGHT IN, tail wagging! Unheard of for my rescue of 5 years! She was done with her examination, vaccine, and nail trim in under 20 minutes! The vet called me and asked if I knew about some ongoing skin tags, other observations she’d made, and made sure everything I asked was completed. Super thorough and kind! I have switched full care to this center after our amazing experience.

I recently moved to this area summer of last year and had to find a new vet for my 11 year old miniature doxin. He is very, very important to me and has had a few health issues in the past that make him a tad delicate (to me anyway).
After using my previous vet for 10 years, I was very nervous and reluctant to find a new vet, and needed up choosing this one after looking at several places.
In the 6 months I’ve been here, I’ve had to take my pup to this vet several times for general check ups, nail clippings and different bloodwork for a new medication he’s on. I’m also getting his teeth cleaned next month - I’ve been here a lot.
I literally could not be happier with how this vet treats me and my dog each visit. If I had a magic wand and could wave it, there’s nothing I would change. They treat him like royalty, respect all my wishes how to handle him, and are very thorough and detailed with everything they do.
The doc that has been looking over him will answer every one of my million questions with absolute patience, never rushes me to leave and even has called me on the weekends to give me updates on his blood work.
I am the picture perfect definition of a helicopter parent with my dog and am very nervous trusting anyone with him, but not here. I would recommend this place to anyone that would listen, and feel very fortunate I found them.

My cats have both seen Dr Blackmore for routine care and she has always been excellent - kind and understanding - but this review is for the boarding services.
Our cat experienced a major medical event two days before we were going to go out of town. He is already a medically complicated cat who has been surviving with cancer for two years. We took him to the emergency vet and they hospitalized him. We knew he would come out on various medications but we did not want to disappoint our kids and cancel their Vacation. We had just had to put our other cat down due to age. Emotions were high.
West Chester stepped up. A dear friend offered to pick our cat Angus up at Medvet and transport him to West Chester who agreed who to care for him and administered any meds that Medvet discharged him home with. He received excellent care. I called for updates and Felt that I was not a burden for my inquiry.
Price was extremely affordable.
He is home today and he looks SO good. He was so well cared for. He had several meds that Had to be given. I just can not say enough about how grateful I am for this service. We’ve always had friends and family watch our cats when we go out of town but these circumstances were a bit much to leave a friend responsible for.
A+++ for this practice.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and veternarian. First puppy visit and Ericka the technician was very friendly and thorough with all the knowledge. Dr Bonner was very good and nice and could tell she really cared about your dog. Explained all that was needed and why. Answered all our questions too. Feel very comfortable about bringing our new dog here.Dee and Denny
