Me and my wife had a very disappointing experience today! We went right before Christmas to look at appliances and talked to what we thought was a helpful salesman however he told us to focus on LG appliances because if we bought four we would save $500. He then said we could use the veterans discount on top of all that... Fast forward to this afternoon and they don't honor the veterans discount on appliances and the bundle and save that he told us about didn't included the washer and dryer so we wouldn't save any money. We went in expecting to save 380 for veterans discount and 500 for the bundle and save for a total of 880 roughly only to find out we'd have to pay the normal everyday price... They need to train their employees better than this because it wasted several evenings of us looking at LG only and bringing my mother to see them as well as bringing my father in law... all this time expecting the deal we were told about...To make a long story short don't believe the sales ppl they will either lie to get you hooked, or don't know what they are talking about either way we were disappointed and are now back to shopping and figuring out the appliance situation... The only positive thing was the lady today was very nice and kept apologizing for her coworkers lie... she said he knows better and shouldn't have told us any of that... however that didn't help the fact that the price we planned on paying went up by more than $800.

Although this store is set up different than Fields, it's still easy to find products.

congratulations to the paint dept. I needed to repaint part of a wall and did not want to paint the whole thing. I found the 20 years old can of paint from Home Depot in the basement and they used the formula to match it perfectly. Moral - never throw anything out.

So I like to go to Home Depot, especially before my doctors appointments, just to peruse and buy things, since they are right next to each other. I don't know if there is some new initiative going on, or if some regional or VP was visiting the store today, but every 5 seconds I was getting stopped and asked if I needed help. In fact, as usually happens in big box stores when someone has a visit, a gang of managers and department heads tend to congregate in a group and follow around said big wig, hanging on every single word that they say. As the gaggle headed my way, the first person asked me if I needed help, to which I said no thank you. The 4th person in the line of associates behind him then asked me if I needed any help! Did something happen in the 2 seconds that it took for the first person to ask me?There is a HUGE difference between being kind and literally harassing customers with "being helpful." Be available, but damn, let people shop. I had a cart full of stuff that I left in the middle of an aisle because I was tired of saying "No thank You" over and over and over and over again. What does this say about a corporation when it makes its employees literally avoid using common sense? In a 5 minute period, I was asked 8 times if I needed help, 4 of them by the people in the group! You literally saw me so no...why ask again? This has been my last trip to HD. I'll go somewhere else, and gladly pay a higher price to shop local and interact with people who aren't so frightened by their bosses.

Employees were rude because they were concerned about someone that may have been shop lifting

Different day different aisle and they've got Donald blocked again and you can tell it nobody's using the lift. So what do you leave it blocking customer's way again early in the morning when the pros are in

As a Pro Customer you hope for good service. At the West Chester Ohio location service isn’t even an afterthought. I’m the past 90 days I spent $6,000 Plus, not that this really matters. I’ve had multiple interactions with in-store and online customer service. Unfortunately, at Home Depot customer service lacking in every area. Online is the worst, but on store is trying hard to take that spot. Most times the best you can hope for is to walk away and try to avoid being upset, but no one caresDo yourself a favor shop somewhere else. You are not saving money when you have to spend hours trying to correct their problems.

Delivered the incorrect product to our team. Left zero paperwork with them. When I called the representative tried to just pass off and transfer without even pulling the order. Placed me on 3 different holds with zero warning. Then what I assume was the manager came on and didn't introduce themself at all and just said "I've set up a job site pick up for tomorrow" and expected that to just be the end. As someone who deals with Home Depots every day. This was a wildly poor experience.

Very rude customer service. Was trying to return a new ceiling fan that I got as a gift for my house and because I didn't have a gift receipt, and it was past 90 days anyway, they told me it was too much for a store credit and I was stuck with it. Not very accommodating. Won't be shopping here anymore.

Patty at the Pro Desk was beyond helpful with my recent contractor's purchase. She is knowledgeable and accommodating, as well as very patient. She gives good advice and knows the product! Thank you so much for your assistance!

Employees don't have much knowledge about the product they sell and could learn a lesson about being more friendly

I like to visit this HD for a couple of reasons. The staff there is friendly and visible. Today, Barbara made it easy to check my returns. She was patient. I won't give a 5 only because HD is now not accepting returns without a receipt or a credit card. They won't give any store credit! I don't appreciate it specially when you loss the receipt and you had to change your credit card!!
