Management never responds to emails, maintenance will take forever too do a patch work fix that will break again eventually. Example Ac unit was broken for entire month of May, fixed for 4 days then broke again and not heard anything from management to help fix this situation. Cynthia was professional and very nice during the touring process. This will positively influence my decision making on where to stay in the future. She answered every question honestly. The other low reviews may make you question the place's integrity, but don't let them fool you. The management team seems top notch and will help you with any questions.

I have to say that Cynthia has been the most patient, professional, and nicest manager I've had for an apartment community, even when I'm stressed and call, when she answers it's the sweetest greeting, Johnny and Jeff the maintenance guys are awesome!! They just may need help during busy times of the year, but it's not their fault!

Hands down the worst place ever. If I had the money, I’d move. They force the heat on in winter so you have to pay extra for the heat and AC to get a comfortable temperature.
The bathroom flooded with HUMAN FECES through the toilet, tub, and sink drain a couple times one winter. They half fix everything. Put in new kitchen flooring, and they scuffed it doing it….. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Beware they also own the neighboring apartment properties. TRASH PIT!!!!! So hot, open doors can’t even cool down this off. NEVER MOVE HERE!!!!!! Also, it says “gates community”. It’s not. No gates. Same key works for every building door.

Cynthia was really helpful during our move-in process. I don’t know how I would have done this without her. She answered all of my questions I had and met all of my ecxpectations. The area is very clean and quiet such a lovely neighborhood to be in. I love how so many stores are so close in distance makes it very convenient to travel. For now I am liking everything so far and it’s only been one month living here. I don’t know what the future would be like but so far so good. Thank you the highlands of west Chester apartment

Great place to live in, their assistant manager Cynthia is the best I've ever seen. So gracious in her work with tenants, going out of her way to help everyone out with an infectious smile on her face.

They will enter your apartment without notice. And if whatever they are fixing is around your stuff they will ruin it. They tell everyone to respect their property but don't respect you or your privacy. I wholeheartedly regret moving here. It's not worth it. Stay away. If I could give this place 0 starts I would. There have been a pair of pants by the stairs outside for over 2 weeks and no one has picked it up. They can barely take care of this place.

EDIT TO ADD: they sent me a return check and then it BOUNCED. This place is a scam. Never give them your moneyWorst customer service I’ve ever dealt with for an apartment. They lied and told me a townhouse was going to be coming available so I paid $300 for an application then they dodged my calls and e-mails for weeks. When I finally talked to I believe it was Cynthia, she told me there wasn’t anything available and she would refund me some of the money but not all of it. It has been nearly two weeks now and they still have not refunded me ANY money and I have to call and email multiple times to get any replies.

This is the absolute worst apartment community. The worst management, the worst manager, the worst staff. They care nothing about their residents and have zero customer service skills. My daughter was actually threatened to not have her issue taken care of if she didn't "change her attitude." Honestly, what type of Regional Manager would threaten such a thing? That is retaliation! This is, by far, one of the worst apartment communities I've ever visited and I've visited so many due to my profession. The extremely low rating should be a huge red flag. Don't rent from this place.
