Customer service is terrible at soccer village. I'm trying to return a pair of shorts that isn't altered or unpackaged. Not customized. I asked at the store and they told me they can't except returns at the stores to call a number. I've called for over a week left several messages and sent emails with no response.
I did finally get a response and they told me to return to the store then the customer service person would refund my money.

They never have referee jerseys / shorts in normal sizes in stock. I’m going to have to issue them a yellow card… next one’s a red.

This location has decent amounts of cleats (boots), balls, accessories, and shirts (uniforms). It was kind of disappointing to walk in and see that they clearly favored Cincinnati United Premier with their abundant fan gear, compared to other youth soccer clubs, like FOSC, Lakota FC, Butler Fury, and Ohio Elite. The first items right in the door. The items they have always seen exorbitantly over-priced, but they have somewhat of a captive audience with their EPL, MLS, and other gear. However the young man helping us told us that we would not be able to find cleats in women's sizes, but my husband had to correct him pointing out that the previously purchased cleats from that exact location were in women's forcing him to go back and look for the desired sizes. What if someone took him at face value? We won't stop going there, since it is a captive audience location. However, it would be great if the store employees were more well-educated on their products.

WARNING: ALL SALES ARE FINAL! Buyer beware! Soccer village will never get another penny of my money. I have no control over team kits but otherwise no more business from me. The location nearest to our house didn't have my daughter's size but another location did so we reserved them. It was the exact same shoe only 1 size larger. She had practice the next night so I picked the shoes up on my way home from work. We live to far to take her to try them on. Besides, it was the same shoe or so we were told. The night of indoor pratice she put them on, ran up and down the field twice then came to tell me they were to wide. I had her take them off and wear her old shoes. We took the shoes back and Soccer Village would not exchange them saying they were scuffed. They were not. The tips of the spikes were slightly dark from the rubber field but there was nothing I could do about that. She couldn't run on a hard concrete floor to test them out. If Soccer Village had the size at our location (which they never do for any of my children) then we wouldn't have been in this situation. But I can tell you plainly that the shoes were not the problem! I could easily tell this was a routine business practice of Soccer Village. When we approached the counter I told them we needed to make an exchange and asked my daughter to go over and look for another pair. The first words out of the associates mouth were lets talk to the manager first. I thought to myself what the hell is that all about. My daughter stayed beside me. He walks in the back is gone for a good 4 to 5 minutes. The manager and him come back out together. The manager looks at shoes ever so beiefly and says they're scuffed they can't return them. Simply not true. Later learned that my sister-in-law bought her daughter a ~$150 pair of shoes that came apart in a little more than a week. They were clearly defective. Soccer Village would not exchange them because she didn't have the original shoe box. Really!!! Well we bought my son a pair cleats last fall at Soccer Plus in Dayton because yet once again Soccer Village didn't have his size. He played his entire HS season then his club team entered a fall tournament. The cleats blew out. I called soccer village to see if they had his size...guess what..no. called Soccer Plus explained what happened. The associate there took it upon himself to ask about our purchase, looked up the date of our purchase and told us the were still under 'warranty' and if we brought them back we would be credited for the amount of the shoes. We had to drive all the way from tournament field (Woodward HS) but hey we basically got $150 for free in my view. The old shoes were shot anyway...and we didnt need a stupid shoe box. I shared my sister-in-law's experience with Soccer Plus and they couldn't believe it. I asked them about the warranty and they told me that basically all.the shoe manufaturers warrant their shoes (for 3 months I think it was) and any shoe store should honor that.

Poor customer service. Poor team spirit among staff. We had an employee who was not well versed on product knowledge...but he was trying. His coworkers did not offer to help him or us. Ill shop online before I go back. Specialty stores should excel at customer service the West Chester location does not. I went back a second time and had the same result.
