Chris Auel is amazing! From the moment that we walked in to see the R & B selection of refrigerators and freezers until he emailed us to make sure that they were properly installed Chris was remarkable. He is very personable, professional and has a vast knowledge of the product line. He was able to narrow our options once we identified our needs. We chose the GE Profile line. Chris set us up for a delivery date and when our refrigerator arrived he called and asked for photos from the delivery team to make sure that it all fit well. I am so pleased that we did not go to a big box store. R & B has a huge inventory and extremely good service. We will be calling Chris when we replace our washer and dryer for sure!
I wrote the above review a year ago and guess what? We returned from vacation last week with bulging suitcases and found our dryer was broken! A great service man said we needed a new one. One call to Chris Auel (as I mentioned last year- somewhat fortuitously) and BOOM! Chris recommended a model. I stopped by the store and he showed me an Electrolux set ( our washing machine was not working well) that was just what we needed. He quickly wrote up the order, set up delivery for the following day(!) and after paying I was out the door in under 10 minutes- Whoa!
The following day Brian and Cole from R & B removed our old machines and efficiently installed the new set. They did a fine job and tested the machines to make sure that they were working.
Awesome service and we highly recommend Chris and the entire R & B team!

Great experience! Got a scratch and dent fridge for the garage. Found it online, all imperfections were shown in pics and I got a great deal. They showed up when I was told they would and got it all set up. Took my dead fridge away. Super easy reliable solution. Highly recommend.

I can honestly say, I don't know if a company could have flubbed up more if they tried. I wanted to buy a convection microwave. I called the Tri County Store. The person who answered told me they had this particular microwave in stock. I asked her the hours of the store that day (Saturday.) I was told what the hours were. I went to the store. The person who answered the phone when I called the tri county store was not IN tri county (how would I have known that?) so when I arrived, no one at the store had a clue about my call. The gentleman who helped me was perfectly nice, BUT this was not his store. We got past that. We located the microwave, they had it in stock, BUT there was no one in the store that could get it off the shelf. I had to come back another day. Mind you, my microwave was DEAD, isn't that usually the case when you go microwave shopping? My family was coming over on Sunday at noon for brunch and I wanted to get this taken care of before then, if entirely possible. Here we are, on a Saturday afternoon, a prime shopping day, in an EMPTY store (no customers but me) and they can't/won't sell me an item that can literally be cashed and carried. When I said, "I guess I'll take my money elsewhere," the store manager very snidely said, "bye, have a nice day!" She accused me of screaming and yelling (If you knew me, you would know I never do either) and she accused me of being disrespectful and demeaning, (I explained to her, I didn't say YOU were stupid, I said the notion that you put a cash and carry item on a shelf so high you require a forklift is stupid.) I needed a microwave, and I wanted that one. I finally left, went home, called the number again, and got Mark in Montgomery. Mark said, they should have sold you the one on the shelf. Come here to Montgomery and I'll do that for you. Except it was too late, the store closed in 15 minutes.So Mark came up with a "brilliant" idea. He said, I can take your cc over the phone, I'll send a message to the guys at the warehouse. They come in on Sunday around 10-10:15, your handyman guy can pick the microwave and be on his way. He said, go thru the gate, to the back dock, etc etc... I said, THREE TIMES, "Mark, can you call the store and confirm this will work?" I never got a straight reason WHY we couldn't/wouldn't call the store, but he sounded so certain, I went along. He said the warehouse guys work Sunday morning to pull items for Monday's trucks. Well guess what? My handyman changed his entire morning schedule, went to Recker and Boerger in Tri County, at 1030 and the gate was locked. Yep. Locked. He waited till the store opened at 11 and was told, "there is no one who can take the microwave off the shelf, we need a forklift driver." So much for Mark's brilliant plan.
So on SUNDAY, after my guests left, I called again and got the first person I spoke to (Vivian at Beechmont, who is wonderful by the way) told me she had the microwave there on the floor. I can just make it before they close.
I drive the hour round trip to Beechmont and Vivian had the microwave waiting for me. I got it and had it installed Monday afternoon.
The end, right? Well, also on Monday, earlier in the day, I left my office in Montgomery and walked down Montgomery Ave to the coffee shop. I look to my right and see Recker and Boerger. I went in. I see a guy with a name tag, Mark. I said, hi Mark, I'm Laura ......... . Blank stare ensues. You and I spoke for 20 minutes on Saturday about the microwave. Still blank. The convection microwave? At Tri County? The warehouse guys were going to be there to get it for my handyman? He says "yea, the were there and gone before 10am." I said, "Mark, this is exactly why I asked you 3 times to check with the store, but you refused. My handyman rearranged his entire morning for that. " I then said, can I have the owner's phone number? I

Very happy. I was impressed by the two technicians who What high school installed the HVAC. They were very knowledgeable and answered any questions that I had and even gave me answers to questions that I should’ve asked. Happy with the installation, very professional. The system is very quiet. Couldn’t be happier.
