Well, guess we’ll be going to Midwest instead of Premier from now on. It’s true, the person I spoke with claimed “management” just came up with members only concept on October 1. So no open range shooting even though website still shows that info. So you guys lost out on the cost of 2 lane rental's, 1 gun rental, ammo, and associated fees. Great job management and way to lower your foot traffic and sales!
Response: save your “cut and paste” safety response as everyone knows this is a money grab. Guess you weren’t as safe before going membership only??
On a separate note, we had a great time at Midwest today!

Everyone be aware that Premier shooting has become an elitists indoor range. You must be a member to shoot. $469.00 a year plus $75.00 activation fee. Instead of bringing people into the shooting sports it is chasing them away. Go to Midwest Shooting or Range USA.

Range is apparently transitioning to “membership only” and they can only offer 30 minutes to non members. Been coming here for a bit on and off and not enough to warrant a membership. Guess I’ll be driving a little further to target world
Response: save your sales pitch, this has nothing to do with safety. Safety has no bearing on charging people more, your safety procedures haven’t changed one iota and to even spout that this is because of safety is offensive to your customers, they’re not dumb.

Per the person I spoke to today, their only lessons are either true beginner or multiple types tactical shooting.
I’m not a beginner, I had a gun brought to the hospital when I was born, I am comfortable with guns and have used them my whole life; but, when I asked about a class, that wasn’t beginner/self defense focused all they could offer was that or tactical military/police training classes while telling me that wasn’t what I wanted. They never told me the focus/curriculum of those classes.
They seemed too rushed to my questions and would not give curriculum specifics. I would have been glad to call back and have a real conversation. I felt spoken down to and dismissed when I was asking legitimate questions as a lady who knows guns.
I found another business that was more friendly, and I do not recommend women looking into this spot based on the experience I had with the gentleman that answered the phone for information.

Carl the range/safety officer was amazing and understood my ignorance. He was able to walk me through step-by-step how to practice safe techniques/basic at the range while also assisting me with disassembling my AR that was jamb. I could not give high enough praise. I would love you say I would return to Premier shooting, but unfortunately will not be because you only really have two options:
1. For first time visitors, you can take a tour of the facility, then you are permitted to use the range at their set fee (but only the first visit).
2. If you would like to return, then you have to sign up for a $40 membership and lock in for 1 year @ $480 (at least that’s how it was presented to me).
I will not be returning for this reason, as I would only want to go 2-3 times a year and it seems like their concern for safety and more upfront money is more important than partial/casual customers.

Sad to say I loved coming here but it's no longer open to the public. Only members at $40 per month can come. For people like me who only go a few times a year because it's more convenient than going to Middletown sometimes, it's very disappointing. I would have rather range fees have been increased over members only. I get it, you need revenue to operate but another monthly bill isn't in my cards.

It is a great place. Today I went for a workout in the gym. They offer so much here. 20 ranges to shoot at. A gym, multiple styles of martial arts. The two ponds have fish in them. But there is a lot of vegetation close to the banks that makes it hard to net a fish. Recently they added a dare care area. Tommy's place is a very relaxing spot they have to socialize with friends after shooting. Once you enter into Tommy's place you are not able to go to the range for 24 hours I believe. They have some really fantastic mixed drinks at Tommy's place. The staff is very friendly. Always smiling and eager to help.

Great staff, great range. Range Security Officers are helpful and ensure those at the range are not a danger to themselves or others.

Will never go back. Let me start by saying the front of house is awesome, they were friendly and informative. We were a party of three, one of our party had to go back out to there vehicle to grab something so the front of house guy said I could carry his rental in for him. I was carrying a bucket with my rental, a target and his gun, I carried it under my arm pointing down at the ground. The range officer stopped us mid way and took the gun from under my arm, I at first thought he was trying to help since I had my hands full and I thought hey thanks man. But then he begins to berate me and act like I'm an idiot saying I was pointing the gun at my fiance. He said you have to keep the gun down range, first off, I was in the Sally port so no you can not, secondly it was pointed at the ground not my fiance. He insulted me in front of my fiance saying I don't know who you are to him but he had the gun pointed right at you, she even told him no it was pointed at the ground. I tried to explain this to him and he continued to treat me as an idiot. I understand you deal with people who do stupid things but I was not and I have been around and training with fire arms since I was 5. I was not pointing it at anyone but the ground. He then hovered over us the entire time and hit our feet several times with the shell sweeper. I brought this up to management and I was just told o ok, no apologies, no anything, this place is a joke and I will never return and I will tell every person I can to not go here. Absolutely ridiculous, I was actually considering a membership since the beginning of my experience was amazing with front of house staff, but that range officer was rude, unprofessional and a out right jerk, so me and mine will not ever be back.

Stepped into a range today for the first time to learn how to safely handle and operate a firearm and couldn’t have had a better experience. Carl was the safety officer who taught me and he was phenomenal. Knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and safe. He took me through my first gun experience as well as I could’ve hoped. Everybody else on staff was welcoming as well. I hope to be back to shoot in the future!

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to Tommie Rowland, Hannah Moore and others at Premier Shooting & Training Center for your incredible professionalism and hospitality in hosting my birthday party earlier this month. Your attention to detail and warmth made my event truly memorable. It was a pleasure to celebrate with such wonderful hosts.
With sincere gratitude,
Tina
