After wandering numerous lots aimlessly looking at unpriced cars with no information on them, test driving "clean" cars with grinding brakes and slipping transmissions, and being told by lying salesmen that cars with mismatched panels or cracked welds have never been in a wreck, we finally found a reputable dealer. Some excellent things about Preferred Auto that are hard to find elsewhere: 1) Cars are priced on the lot. You don't have to waste time explaining to a salesman what you are or are not looking for. 2) Window stickers are on all the cars! No waiting for a salesman to look up the mileage, features, etc. 3) The sales staff leaves you alone while you browse around, research cars, and narrow your list. 4) The sales process was quick and easy with zero pressure. 5) Six months later, we've found no issues with the vehicle. 6) They had no bad cars on the lot at all--every one of them seemed solid and reliable. 7) CarFax reports were available free of charge. 8) There are great Uzbeki, Jamaican, and Indian restaurants right down the road! I don't think any two of these things were true of any other dealership. Don't waste your time driving all over the city. Keep an eye on their site, or tell them what you're looking for and wait for their call.

So in helping my son look for a new to him car, he found a nice looking Corolla online and it was close to home so we came by. We walked around the lot of very nice looking used cars and then found it. We were just starting to look it over when the dealer came out. He go the key so we could looking it over. It started right up and sounded new. My son had already given the dealer his license so am we got a tag and took it for a drive. The only issue we seen was the TPMS was showing a low tire by the time we got back. Everything else felt very nice. We talked to the dealer and made a deal based on the TPMS working after we check tire pressure and it was within spec. So the next day they sent the car to a local tire shop that ended up replacing all 4 sensors. I couldn't ask for better support for purchasing a car. Not only do I highly recommend this used car lot. I will say that if I am ever in the market for another used car this will be the first place I check.
